Story
Meet Piglet, the adorable little girl with a heart full of love and a zest for life! This affectionate little ball of energy is as playful as she is calm, making her the perfect companion for any family. Piglet is not just a bundle of joy; she’s also friendly with both cats and dogs, ensuring she’ll fit right into your home, no matter the furry dynamics. At just the right age for adventure, Piglet is active and loves to explore. She enjoys her walks and does wonderfully on a leash, making outings a breeze. Whether it’s a stroll in the park or a romp around the yard, Piglet is always ready for fun! Piglet is about 70% potty trained, so she’s well on her way to mastering her bathroom habits. With a little more time and patience, she’ll be fully trained and ready to thrive in her forever home. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup to brighten your days and share your adventures, Piglet is the one for you! To add Piglet to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2198873##

Story
Hi there! I'm Miss Piggy! I'm a 5-year-old Short Haired Pointer mix, and I weigh 38 pounds of pure love! I was found at Sage Raceway, and I can't wait to find my forever home. I'm sweet, affectionate, and I just want to be around my people all the time. While I might not know how to walk on a leash very well yet (training is a work in progress!), I promise I'm eager to learn. I'm all muscle and love to jump up for hugs, so I'd be best suited for a home with kids aged 10 and older. I get along great with other dogs, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about them. If you're looking for a loving companion who's ready to share cuddles and adventures, I'd love to meet you! Let's make some wonderful memories together!

Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

MEET BUNNY! Bunny's journey is a testament to resilience and the transformative power of love. Discovered living amidst the dangers of a construction site and facing threats from workers, Bunny's early life was far from easy. But her path led her to us, and with a bit of patience and care, she has blossomed into a wonderful companion. Bunny is wonderfully trained—she’s comfortable in her crate, fully potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and is a calm and happy passenger in the car. However, she has made it clear that she cannot coexist with cats—there are no exceptions to this rule. She does, however, get along well with other well-balanced dogs and enjoys the camaraderie of a pack. Bunny is not just stunningly beautiful; she’s also incredibly kind-hearted. For the ideal adopters, a high fence is a must. Bunny has proven that she can climb any chain-link fence with ease, so her new home needs to be secure. If you're looking for a loyal and loving addition to your family, Bunny just might be the perfect fit. To add Bunny to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. Meet Moony! Moony is a 6-year-old pointer mix who came to us as a stray. While we don't know much about her past, she has shown her sweet personality in the shelter. Though she can be a bit apprehensive in new situations, she warms up over time and becomes more confident once she gets to know the people around her.
