Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Name:  Kentucky       Best Guess for Breed:   Pointer and lab mix Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of December 2024   Gender:    Male Approximate Weight:    51 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids but he can be tested if you have them. Kentucky is a bit too interested in his feline friends so a home without cats is best. Currently Living At: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to come up after completing heartworm treatment Special Adoption Considerations: Kentucky is heartworm positive, but this Lucky Dog got extra lucky! This pup is part of a groundbreaking study we are conducting at our South Carolina Rescue Campus that has the potential to change the way shelters across the United States treat heartworm positive dogs.  All dogs in the study are placed at random in either the 2 shot or 3 shot protocol with strictly monitored protocols in place. Four weeks following their final injection, the pups are eligible to transport to the DC area for placement in foster or adoptive care.  After treatment concludes, we work with adopters to arrange a free follow up heartworm test after 6 months, followed by a second test at 9 months.  We are happy to discuss this treatment and which phase of the study this Lucky Dog is in right now! Just email the adoption coordinator - the address is at lower left! Kentucky is Looking For: His forever family! He's got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager to have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world - he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. He'd love to make pup pals along the way, too. Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs - yes, please. But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to know he's safe and loved for all his days. What do you say? Is he the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Story
Lucie is a lovely 46 pound, seven year old pointer mix.  She had been living with a family for the last four years, but sadly her adopter became quite ill and could no longer care for her.  This sweet girl is used to living in a home and doesn't know why she is in a kennel.  She is housebroken, friendly with other dogs, likes to ride in a car, and enjoys getting out for walks.  As a mature lady, she is not overly energetic - she still enjoys walks, and has shown us that she can easily go on a 3.7 mile hike, but is also happy to settle down in the house and relax and snuggle with her people.  Lucy really needs a soft place to land - someone who is going to enjoy her companionship for the rest of her life. Sweet Lucie is generally easygoing and will make a wonderful companion in an adult home.  She would do best as an only dog and prefers to be cat free.  She can be possessive of objects, and needs her person to respect that and not try to take things away from her.  This was managed for 4 years in her adopted home with no problem.  We think Lucie would do best with someone with some experience as a dog parent. ##456255##

Story
Hi there! I'm Harold! I’m a fun-loving, 2-year-old pointer mix and am 35-40 lbs. of pure joy. I’m friendly with all dogs, so I love meeting new pals to play with. When I’m on a leash, I’m a total pro—walking is always a fun time. And don’t even get me started on car rides—just say the word car, and I’m in! Whether we’re heading to the park or just out for a drive, I’m happy to go wherever the adventure takes us. I love to give hugs and I might be a bit big, but I can still be a lapdog!. But, what I really, really love? Kids! I’m crazy about them. If you’ve got a yard, you’re in luck—I’d thrive running and playing with kids all day long. I’m the perfect mix of playful and well-behaved, so I’ll keep you on your toes while also being the best buddy to your little ones. If you’re looking for a dog who’s active, fun, and gets along with everyone, then I think we’re going to be the best of friends! ##2274912##
