Adopted as a puppy in late 2020, Kaia is a loving and affectionate female who gets along great with all people. While Kaia was returned to the rescue due to being aggressive with other dogs, she remains a wonderful companion for those who can provide her with a dog-free home. She has no medical concerns and is in great health, making her a ready-to-go addition to a loving household. If you’re looking for a loyal and friendly dog who will shower you with love and attention, Kaia is eager to become a cherished member of your family. Story
Precious is a sweet, brave and happy little girl looking for her forever home. She loves snuggles and love. She is crate trained and sleeps up to 8-9 hours/night in her crate. She also takes naps in her crate. She understands that going outside in the yard means it is time to go potty and when I don't get her outside in time, she uses the potty pads. She is comfortable walking on a leash with a harness. She wrestles with her brother her age, as well as two older and larger dogs (ages 2 and 4). She is very curious about our three cats and runs in circles with excitement when she sees them. She barks for attention to her needs but isn't a barker for no reason and she is able to quiet down when needed. She responds to "no" with a clap and comes to me when I call her (we call her "lil girl"). She is going to be such a great companion. She will be happy in a home with another dog or as the only dog if she has lots of attention and isn't left alone for long periods of time. She is currently 15 pounds at about 5 months old, and anticipated to be a small/medium sized dog. Mamma was an assumed pointer/heeler/hound mix. She is being fostered in Boulder, Colorado. Scheduled for spaying on Dec 27, will be ready to go to her new home by Dec 30th or after. Interested in learning more about Precious? Please submit a no obligation adoption application. ##2251055##

Story
Name: Nibs Breed: Pointer / Heeler Mix Sex: Neutered Male Age: 3 years Weight: 41 lbs Good with dogs? Nibs may be best in a single dog household. Good with cats? Yes, he lived with three foster kittens. He let them lick his face and tried to play with them, and backed off when they wanted space. Good with kids? Yes, he is good with kids 10+ if they go slow with petting him. Energy level: Medium. He will play with toys once he feels comfortable in his environment. He enjoys two long walks. Behavioral needs: Nibs responds well to gentle correction and positive reinforcement. He endured terrible abuse, and although he has no reason to trust people, he will trust a kind, gentle person after spending a few days together. Nibs appreciates a quiet tone of voice. He loves to be pet if you come in slow and let him move to you and pet under, not over, his head. He is fine with strangers as long as they go slow with making friends. Animal Characteristics: Nibs is a sweet, goofy, playful pup who likes to snuggle on the couch and be near his people during the day. He loves affection and will look to his trusted person for companionship and direction. He is highly intelligent, knows how to sit, and is very easy to train. He is crate trained, and is building up to spending more than three hours at a time free roaming his foster home. Nibs is very quiet and does not bark much, but will speak up when he is ready to come out of his crate and hang out with you! He will get into a car with his person once he trusts them, and will sit quietly and look out the window. Nibs is a wonderful boy who deserves a peaceful, loving forever home! For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2243705##

Story
Wimsy is the sweetest and most loving pup. She loves to nap in laps and snuggle up next to her favorite people. Wimsy is very people oriented and eager to meet/say hi to any human she sees. At adoption events this looks like barking and jumping, rest assured at her foster home, she is much calmer and quieter. Wimsy is learning how to navigate her body, loves to run and is doing well walking on a leash. She is very close to potty trained during the day and is trained overnight. She currently shares a crate with her sister and does well for some time during the day and overnight. Wimsy loves to explore and is curious about everything. She likes to play fetch, tug of war and chase leaves. Wimsy is great with kids (ages 5 and 11) and often looks around for them when they are not home. ##2208214##

Story
Breck is fun-loving, energetic, and full of personality. She is ready to be your best friend and enjoys spending time hiking, running, playing fetch, bouncing in the snow, and camping. Breck is an adventurous pup who we have been so grateful to love and have in our lives. In true GSP form, Breck needs room and time to run to get all of her zoomies out. Breck would do best in a home without other dogs and without little kids. She will do best with an experienced dog owner, someone with time to dedicate to her well-being, and someone with a lot of love to give. She has shown some territorial behavior, specifically while camping, so we have found she does best when she has lots of space to herself. Breck is well trained, and is reliable off leash. She is so deserving of fun, love, and adventure and we are hoping to provide her with her next most loving home. Breck would do best in a home with older kids, and we are unsure how she would do in a house with another dog.
