Loves to play, and has learned good play boundaries with dogs and humans since being here on the ranch. Highly trainable and motivated with food + chew toys. Story
Marvin is a sweet and noble dog, 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was hanging around the shelter for a couple of weeks, he was given food, water and some love, but we decided to take him in when he arrived really injured and covered in blood, we think he was attacked by dogs. Fortunately in his medical checkup he didn't come out with many problems, and he is now healthy and ready for his new home! He knows how to coexist with other dogs, although he has his temper, he is usually very tolerant with effusive puppies. He likes to sleep in his giant bed, is crate-trained, house-trained and is sociable and friendly with new people. He knows how to ride in a car, and smiles when you scold him, he is adorable! We don't know exactly what breed he is, google lens finds a resemblance to an English Pointer and Andalusian ratter. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. The adoption fee does not include transportation to North of San Diego

Story
There is nothing prickly about the Cactus puppies! These desert flowers are as sweet as their mama Cactus, who we believe is a mix of Lab, Cattle Dog and Pointer. We don't know who their dad was but believe these puppies also may have some Terrier in them as well and think they are on track to be large dogs. They are currently in a foster home where they are getting lots of socialization and playtime, but they are ready to meet forever families of their own! Hylo is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Cactus puppy, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue. We are here to help you find a furry companion. You will find our quick and easy adoption application at www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt.
