Story
This adorable boy is Pongo. He is a 6 month old Pointer mix who weighs about 15 lbs. He is a very fun pup who gets along with everyone he meets. We recently took him on an excursion where he met cows, pigs, sheep and goats and he loved them all. He does great riding in the car and did a good job of following commands. Pongo can be cat tested upon request. He will make a wonderful family dog and is patiently waiting for his family to find him. If you'd like to meet Pongo, apply today! If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order to bring them to their forever homes. If an animal is posted, they are VERY likely available. Please fill out an adoption application to get the best chance at being considered rather than contacting directly. If you are interested in adopting & think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you & your family. Once that is complete & we've approved your application, we can set up a time for you to meet your potential companion for life!! Story
#A5660359 Gia is an 8-month old, brown, pointer-mix long legged puppy, a certified “Heinz-57”. At 47-lbs, she is very thin. Gia seems wiser than her 8-months and is a very smart, centered girl and would make a wonderful little-dog sister to another dog. She does well on leash and is very attentive to her handler. Gia is quick to learn, eager to please and also easy to love with her snuggly, calm demeanor. Don’t pass up this sweet, smart lady.    - Arrived at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as a stray on 10/28/24 - 47 lbs, underweight - Spayed - Good on leash - Knows sit   GIA’S VIDEO: https://youtu.be/fENDXPpsM8I For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter.
