My Adoption Fee is Waived!Hi, I`m Garfield!I recently went out on a doggy day out and here is what they had to say about me. `He was hesitant to get in the car but with lots of encouragement, he did. Once in the car he was very calm. We took him for a walk by the river. When we found access to the river he went straight in and liked to dive for sticks. We walked some more and he chased butterflies. He also, tried to stick his head in any holes he could find. He pulled on his leash a lot. We then got him a pup cup and he loved it!We took him home and he chased after the ball in the backyard. He is a highly energetic dog and played with toys the whole time he was here.` Garfield is a great jogger and has endless energy! he would thrive best in a very active home. if you love running, hikes and lake days come meet him!Garfield has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:Check out more photos and videos of me here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!

MJ is a 1 year old and 59 pound dog looking for his forever home. MJ is a dog that cares all about those gains!! He adores a good workout! If you need an exercise buddy he would love to take on that role for you!MJ recently went to an offsite event and loved meeting new people - especially kiddos! He gave kisses, didn't jump, and greeted appropriately. I don't have a history with dogs, so I may need slow introductions to new dogs.I don't have a history with cats, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.I lived with kids in my previous home but may be selective with your kids.MJ's adoption fee has been sponsored by a loving fan!If you are interested in this specific animal, please come to the shelter for walk-in adoptions Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30am to 5:30pm. We recommend coming in as early as possible, as adoptions are first-come, first-served.
