Hi future fam! My name is Junior and here's more about me: PHYSICAL INFO: Breed: Pointer mix Age: 5.5 months approx.  Gender: Male Weight: 33lbs (15 kg)  Current Location: Guadalajara Mexico RESCUE STORY -  TEMPERAMENT -  ENERGY LEVEL - Medium GETS ALONG WITH: Kids – Unknown but can be tested upon request Dogs – I get along well with other pups and currently live with many other doggos at my foster's house! Cats – Unknown but can be tested upon request PREY DRIVE - Unknown. I’m not too sure how I’ll react around squirrels/rabbits etc. My adopter needs to be prepared and willing to train me through these behaviours, should they arise. TRAINING: Leash skills – My rescuers say I am good with my leash skills as you can see here, however I may need some additional patience and training. House trained – My rescuer says I am okay with this but I may need some additional training and patience.  Crate trained – My rescuer says I am okay with this but I may need some additional training and patience.  Car rides – My rescuer says I am good with this but I may need some additional training and patience.  Please Note: WCP highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.  HEALTH NOTES:  I am neutered and vaccinated. NOTE: dogs from Guadalajara are not microchipped. NOTE: It is not uncommon for rescue dogs to require dental work/cleaning after they are adopted. West Coast Paws does not cover the costs of dental work and/or vet visits. These costs are the financial responsibility of the adopter. Name: Emma Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Neutralization: Completed Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black and White Spotty Weight: 46 LB (21kg) Hello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family. I am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. On the spot of meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting. I am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments. Outdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you. :D If you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you.
