"Kodak Moments: the memories you can keep forever." Our Kodak lives up to this widely known slogan with his happy go lucky demeanor and it helps a lot that he is absolutely picture perfect. Just 10 months young and 51 lbs this boy will fit in about any home. We believe him to be a pointer/american cattle dog mix but your guess is as good as ours. No, dalmatian is out of the question… Neither his build or spots match. Kodak has mastered all his manners including crate and potty training and loves nothing more than playing with friends. Let it be human or canine. He is excitable, loves a good toy and some treats but also enjoys a nice nap next to his human on the couch. Hikes, walks, really anything he would enjoy especially if his family is with him. Kodak can clear a baby gate but does not try to escape a yard. However a secure fence would be ideal as he does follow his nose. Especially if a squirrel has been there. He does wonderful on a leash and absolutely loves to go on rides or to outings. Milo and his 3 sisters were all found in a vet clinic trash dump in 2023.NO CATSThey were all adopted. Milo is the goodest boy ever but his parents divorced and the apartments where his Mom and human siblings are able to afford to move into don't allow pets so Milo the good boy has to come back to MARF. He's a pointer/German Shorthair Pointer mix (we had thought heeler, but we were wrong!) and whatever mix and loves running outside, playing with the kids, etc.NO CATS for Milo and he is an ALPHA DOG so needs a submissive. He's fully vetted and ready to move on to his FUREVER home with a secured place to run, play and potty. Bring treats when you meet Jessica, and you will quickly have a pretty, entertaining, and snuggly best friend. She doesn't have much use for toys, but does enjoy being outdoors sharing time with you. She already has nice manners, but is smart enough to learn more - especially when it means extra treats! She already responds to sit, crates nicely, and is decent on leash. You know when she is happy by her little dance, endearing smile, and the sparkle in her beautiful gold eyes. Jessica is a little jumpy at quick movements, so we suggest no kids at that erratic age. She has done well with other dogs at the shelter who don't mind her play acrobatics. Kermit is a sweet loving guy that just wants to please his humans. He is good with the other dogs at the rescue. Sadly Kermit was adopted by an older couple and couldn't they give him the kind of attention and exercise that a dog his age needs because of their health issues, so he was returned to the rescue. It wasn't his fault, he just wanted someone that can play, run, hike and just have fun with. Kermit has been left in the house at night un-crated and does very well. He waits until morning to be let out to do his business. Kermit also loves car rides and rides quietly watching out the window.
