Story
Sadie is a gorgeous 8 month old plott hound female. She has a beautiful brindle coat and a sweet and very playful personality. She weighs about 40 pounds. Sadie is a very friendly girl who has lots of love to give. She enjoys people of all ages and loves playing and snuggling with other dogs. She loves toys, and would love to be a part of your active household! She enjoys exercise and loves going to doggie daycare with her friends. She would do great with a family that wants to include her in all of their activities and train her to become the best she can be! Sadie is potty trained in her foster home, however her new family should be prepared to do additional training while she learns the routine at her new home in WI. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition. She is being fostered in Muskego, WI. Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. Vaughn is our longest term pup -  an introverted extrovert that came to us almost three years ago in VERY rough shape.  When he arrived he was skin and bones and terrified of the world.  He would guard his food from other dogs and wouldn't let strangers approach him.  With a lot of patience and work - this boy has made a complete turnaround!   Vaughn is still a little shy with strangers, but after a quick sniff and a treat he's your best friend.  In the home, this 70 pound pup thinks he's a lap dog and is always trying to curl up next to you.  He currently lives with multiple small dogs and is doing very well - but will definitely chase a cat if given the opportunity (that's the hound in him).   He loves to play with other dogs...  but prefers calmer personalities that won't try to bully him.  Vaughn is sweet and playful with the reserved disposition that middle age brings.  A pup that LOVES his walks, but only half as much as he loves his naps.   He's got a smidge of cattle dog in him as well and tends to be a bit mouthier and will herd his friends when he plays so an adult only home or a home with kids over 12 would be ideal.   If you think our little wallflower sounds like the dog for you, please contact his trainer (Kseniya) today at 847.338.3252 or info@redemptionroadinc.org  to schedule your private meet and greet. Rebel is a sweet and loyal 4-year-old hound mix who loves spending time with his favorite people and will greet you with a wagging tail every time. He enjoys long walks, cuddling, and playing with toys and dog friends. While Rebel is fully house-trained and gets along well with other dogs once he’s comfortable, he does have a couple of quirks that need understanding. Rebel can be a bit territorial, especially around new people or in unfamiliar spaces. He’s a bit shy when meeting new faces and may need some time to warm up to them. He’s looking for a temporary foster who can help him with proper introductions and guide him to greet new people in a calm and positive way. A peaceful and patient environment would work best for him, and he thrives when his boundaries are respected. If you're experienced with dogs who need a little extra patience and understanding, Rebel would be so grateful for your help in making this holiday season special! He’s a loving companion who just needs someone to help him feel safe and secure.

Ash is a big happy guy who is easy to love. He may be 8 years old, but you wouldn't know it. He loves to play with other dogs (he gets along great with my own dog and my fosters). He greets us enthusiastically every morning when we get up and every time we come home. On walks, he's a little pokey because there's always a lot to sniff. He plays hard with other dogs both in the house and in the yard, but he also likes to sunbathe in the yard. He's a big guy and his beautiful brindled coat improves a little every day. In our home, he's thriving, and he makes us feel well appreciated. He's well-mannered and housetrained.

If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, Atlas is the guy for you. His unique looks and amazingly sweet and inquisitive personality are products of his rich breed mixture. Atlas (also known as "Mr. Steal Your Heart and Pillow") enjoys long walks, short car rides, exploring, cooling off in creeks, lounging around the house, playing tug, unstuffing plush toys, wrestling and playing the bitey face game with his doggy sibling, cuddling in bed, and anything else that allows him to spend time with his family. At almost 3 years old, he has outgrown most undesirable puppy behaviors, but is still an active boy who requires adequate exercise. He does well with children and other dogs. He has done well with cats! He likes to lead walks and can be overly eager to meet new dog friends, so some training in those areas is recommended. He also gets overwhelmed in busy settings and sometimes experiences stranger danger so it is advised to avoid crowded settings unless addressed by a trainer. He is overnight crate trained, but he becomes anxious when left in the crate for extended periods of time during the day so his ideal home would have a pet parent who is home for the greater part of the day. Atlas is learning how to pull carts. He is a very smart dog and seeks to please his owners. Atlas is house/potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
