Story
Luna has been part of our family for a little more than a year. She is kind, energetic, and loving. She loves chasing and being chased by people and dogs alike. When the day is over, nothing makes her happier than dozing next to her human on the couch. We are rehoming Luna because she has become very anxious around our small children and we want her to be with a family where she can be herself. She would be an amazing companion for families with older kids, or for someone whose family is just furry friends. We are so sad to be saying goodbye to Luna, but we know she will make someone else very happy. She is spayed, chipped, has had leash training, completely housebroken, but she does need to be on a leash when she is outside. Otherwise, her nose takes over and she jets off to explore. She is usually fine around other dogs, we haven’t seen her interact with very many cats. We are hoping she can be with someone who will love her, pet her, and treat her like the good girl she is.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Tilly is such a sweet precious soul and at only 49lbs, she is a very petite leggy hound. We do feel she could add some weight and be perfectly healthy, so she could get as big as 55lbs but doubtful she would get much heavier than that at a healthy weight. She spent a day with 13 other dogs and walked in ready to make friends. She played a lot more than her foster expected and just generally enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, but was happy to be inside too once she figured out the doggy door. Hard floors are a little new and scary for her, but with rugs strategically placed, she is figuring everything out. She is just a very happy, go-lucky lady ready to tackle life and find her forever home. She would prefer children 6+ since she does sleep quite soundly and we have been told she does not like being woken up abruptly. Meet Petey! Petey is a smart, active hound dog. He is house trained, crate trained, does well on a leash, and is even excellently trained with our invisible fence. He is a sweet and cuddly guy but also loves to run and get his exercise. Petey would make an excellent pet for anyone that doesn’t have small children. Feel free to contact me with any questions!
