To learn more about Simba, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Simba will be attending one of our adoption events coming up this weekend! To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event they will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events* Simba may be just be the loving, adventurous best friend you've been looking for! Simba really enjoys an outing - he likes to investigate on long walks and keep the occasional squirrel in line, but mostly heels on his own and is easy to walk. He is working on learning commands, but his house training looks solid, and he will spend time in a crate if you ask nicely. He eats well, but hasn't been super food motivated so far. This brings us to his most outstanding quality - Simba is a total lovebug who wants to spend time with this people and make them happy! The only reward he wants for learning and being a good boy is your love and attention. He is easy-going with this senior foster sister, and is starting to figure out toys. He's friendly and easy to love, and his great personality will shine through even more as he gets more comfortable. Come meet Simba this weekend and tell him you will be his very best pal!

Story
Bruce is a fabulous example of a forgiving and loving dog that was abandoned and found himself on the streets of a small town in Tennessee.  He had nowhere to go and some kind people took him in to hold him safely while Critter Cavalry Rescue takes time to find him the best home ever.   He is a Plott hound/Pit mix from what we can see in his markings and his stature.  He is 2 years old and 65 pounds and he is one special dog that is so handsome and is truly a gentle giant!  This boy has everything going for him with great house manners and housebroken as well.  He crate trained and is living in a foster home in an apartment.  He is a medium energy young man that gets along well with the other dog in his foster home.  He loves play time outside, as well as being a snuggly couch potato. Bruce is learning to walk on leash and will need daily practice to stop pulling. He loves to ride in a car, likes carrots and ice cubes. When at home he loves to look out the window and will do that for hours.  Recently he spent some time boarding and was a favorite with the staff and he demonstrated an ability to be very sweet and easy with some of the children of the staff members.  The only NO about Bruce is that he is not fond of cats, so no feline siblings.  He would probably do best with another gentle, playful dog of his same size.  He would be fine being the only dog and always center of attention, too!  Older children over 7 years of age might be best, but only because of his size.  If you are looking for a best friend and/or family member to run, hike, play, explore, and then curl up for some couch time, Bruce is your guy!  He is so beautiful and regal.  He looks around like he is surveying his kingdom and hoping that all is well.  You could really make his life a happy ending if you could consider adopting Bruce.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask all the questions that you need and also ask for an adoption form. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 20, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Hello - Nash, here and I'm a catch! I'm about 32lbs of pure love. I may be some sort of hound/terrier mix, because I am super smart and like to sniff a lot! I I sleep in my crate through the night - no problem. I potty outside like a good boy. I am pretty light on the leash, but I need more practice in that department. I am getting along famously with the 3 dogs in my foster home, 2 bigger than me and one shorter than my long-legged self. We have so much fun playing! When they tell me it's time to stop, I listen, but they are very assertive! A playmate close to my age and size would be best for me in my forever home. I still like to pick up my human's shoes and socks sometimes, so a good supply of toys is a must. My foster mom said she cannot communicate enough how much I crave love and human touch. I'm the snuggler you are looking for! Nash is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system.
