SKYE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!   Skye is a beautiful young plott hound/black mouth cur mix. She will be about 45 pounds when full grown. She is a calm sweet girl who loves to please people. She walks well on a leash. Skye likes to play and run around with her brother, but she really just wants to cuddle up and lay around and nap. Skye is good with other dogs and children. This girl is gentle, amazing, and deserves the perfect forever home! She is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. Remember Noah? Noah came to us a few weeks ago from our local shelter, Shenandoah Valley Animal Services Center. He spent about 4 months there hiding under his dog bed! Now, he's thriving in a life-saving, foster home! Noah is a petite, plott hound mix who weighs about 35-40 pounds and is about 1.5 years old. He's still scared of loud noises and needs a securely fenced yard and a least one other playful dog for him to be comforted by. Noah loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is crate and house trained and is building confidence every day! Noah is a special guy who deserves the best of furEVER homes! And we are ready to help him find it! Can you be the happy ending that Noah has been waiting for? Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Hey, friends! I'm Polaroid, a handsome 7-year-old Plott Hound on the lookout for my new forever home. Life's been a bit of an adventure lately, but I'm ready to bring some warmth and joy to your world. I'm a neutered guy who adores meeting new people - my enthusiasm knows no bounds! If you've got a hand free for pets and ear scratches, count me in; I'm a certified expert in soaking up all the love. I'm a fan of outdoor escapades, whether it's a leisurely walk or a good old romp in the yard. My nose is always on the job, and I love putting it to good use - you never know what interesting scents are waiting to be discovered! I get along famously with other dogs, and kids are like instant best friends to me. Sadly, my previous owner lost their home, but I'm here, ready to share my sweet and affectionate nature with someone special. Let's create happy memories together! “HANK”  TO ADOPT CONTACT: Paul  304-249-5045 or hansen.11@frontier.com Plott Hound Age – about 6 years  Housebroken Friendly Gets along with other dogs. Neutered Current Shots  (Vet: Faithful Friends Animal Clinic,  Franklin WV 304-358-2360) Hank was dropped into a wooded area near Franklin WV about two and half years ago and left to fend for himself. In a depleted state, he was found and taken in by a woman who had done the same for several other strays. Decades of caring for various breeds of deserted hunting dogs became the focus of her life until she succumbed to cancer in March. Both Blue and Hank are sorely missing their very special human and in need of another loving home. They don't have to be adopted together. ##1842320##

Friendly mixed breed female pup needs a new home. Her littermate sister is Mocha.  Caramel likes all ppl and LOVES toys!  She loves to play fetch! This pup is now spayed & fully vetted.   7/9/24:  Caramel loves water and playing in a baby  pool (see pics).  She is 5 mos old per our vet. We have a volunteer who plays with her and has been teaching her verbal cues such as "sit” & "come". She is learning what a leash is. And doing great on the leash!  She loves to go for walks!  She is very loving and sweet with all ppl and we expect she will make a loyal & loving family pet! ##2077640##
