Although I start off shy, a few gentle pets bring me out of my shell quickly. I love playing with other dogs, especially the larger ones, but what I dream of most is a special person to call my own. Fully house-trained and crate-trained, I have excellent manners—no shoe-chewing here! A Note From the Foster`She is the HUGEST snuggle bug in the world. Loves leaning and being right next to me. She opens up quickly to new people, especially women, and is just as cuddly with them. She loves giving kisses and loves going for walks. She is getting better at leaving my cat alone (she wants to play with the cat but the cat does not want to play back). She’s great at sit and while she still gets over-excited at times and jumps up, she remembers quickly that she needs to sit to get attention. She’s growing more and more independent by the day. She loves looking out the window and seeing what’s going on in the outside world. She’s also a great jumper and very agile, so I think she would love those dog parks with obstacle courses (although I haven’t had a chance to take her). The few kids she’s been around, she’s been fine with. In my mind, her perfect companion would be someone active with lots of time to spend with her. She would be a great best buddy for a single person working from home, looking for that connection with a dog, but I think she would be great with a family, as well, as long as they can keep her busy.`
