Hello, my name is Hugo, and I`m a bit shy around new people, especially in the kennel here at the shelter. But don`t let that fool you! With just a bit of patience and understanding, I`ll show you that I`m a social boy who loves attention and learning new things.I just want to please my humans, but I do get a bit nervous around too many new people, so a quiet, low-traffic home would be ideal for me. I`m sure I`ll warm up to you in no time, and once I do, I`ll shower you with love and affection.I think it would be best for me to have another friendly dog in the home to show me the ropes and help me build my confidence. I`m a quick learner and love to play, so having a furry friend to romp around with would be fantastic!I may not show well in the kennel, but I promise that with a little patience, I`ll show you what a great companion I can be. So if you`re looking for a loving and loyal pup to add to your family, please consider adopting me, Hugo!

Prudence is a special little girl. She came from a place where she was not given lots of love and attention so she`s not really sure how to interact with people. She`s now in a foster home where she is getting spoiled and getting used to the good life. This lovely lady still has a ways to go and will need a home that is patient and understanding of her needs. She`s an absolute sweetheart who loves treats and is very smart! Her doggy siblings are helping her learn how to sit and get comfortable with people. Jayden is 5 years old, but he is like a big puppy and loves to play and snuggle on the couch. He was left at a home after a tenant vacated it, so we have been caring for him until we can find him a good home. He is playful with a lot of energy and would benefit from a big yard or lots of outdoor space to run. He is able to learn - we taught him to sit and stay. He loves to play ball. He's a very smart dog! He gets along well with our large and small dogs. but he has too much fun chasing cats. He would benefit from a home by himself or with other dogs, but no cats. He's very strong and would make a great running partner! We are hoping to find him a great home that he deserves where he can get lots of love and play time in the outdoors. He is crate trained and does well by himself inside a home in or out of his crate. He is also a great guard dog and barks at strangers or doorbells, as needed. He has the herding dog him because he loves to playfully herd his owners and friends!
