Welcome Zeus to CCPAL Foster Program. Zeus is a 18-month old 70 pound Plot Hound/Medium Terrier blend dog. He was abandonded by his owners when they moved and left him at the house they moved from. He was tied up to the porch. Good Samaritans spotted him and were feeding him and giving him water until they realized the owners weren’t coming back. Zeus is now in foster home waiting for his new forever home. He is great on a leash and not leash reactive. He is good in a crate and he likes car rides. He is attentive, smart and potty trained. He is overall a wonderful dog and is not food aggressive or reactive with his bowl. He would make a wonderful outdoor enthusiast a great companion. He would make a perfect man dog. He looks tough but he is not at all how he looks. He would make a great family dog if the man works out of the house. His looks would make the family feel secure even if he loves everyone. He is a lower shedding dog with a nice soft coat. He is healthy, vaccinated and neutered. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Prudence is a special little girl. She came from a place where she was not given lots of love and attention so she`s not really sure how to interact with people. She`s now in a foster home where she is getting spoiled and getting used to the good life. This lovely lady still has a ways to go and will need a home that is patient and understanding of her needs. She`s an absolute sweetheart who loves treats and is very smart! Her doggy siblings are helping her learn how to sit and get comfortable with people. A Note From the Foster`She is the HUGEST snuggle bug in the world. Loves leaning and being right next to me. She opens up quickly to new people, especially women, and is just as cuddly with them. She loves giving kisses and loves going for walks. She is getting better at leaving my cat alone (she wants to play with the cat but the cat does not want to play back). She’s great at sit and while she still gets over-excited at times and jumps up, she remembers quickly that she needs to sit to get attention. She’s growing more and more independent by the day. She loves looking out the window and seeing what’s going on in the outside world. She’s also a great jumper and very agile, so I think she would love those dog parks with obstacle courses (although I haven’t had a chance to take her). The few kids she’s been around, she’s been fine with. In my mind, her perfect companion would be someone active with lots of time to spend with her. She would be a great best buddy for a single person working from home, looking for that connection with a dog, but I think she would be great with a family, as well, as long as they can keep her busy.`
