Hi Josh!!! This brindle boy is a Plott Hound mix we guess. He’s about 50 pounds and about a year old. He’s completely vetted, heartworm negative and ready for some permanent digs that will surely be an upgrade from where he came from. Josh was found abandoned, tied to a pole with two other adult dogs and three puppies without shelter, food or water. It is typically impossible to find someone willing to take on a pack of abandoned dogs in one day, but that is exactly what his foster did. Without his foster moms, these dogs stood a zero chance at a life. Josh adores his foster pack, is crate trained, doing well with house training and would make a fabulous running partener. Karina is an 8 month old, 45lb Plott Hound/Bull Terrier mix who loves playing, cuddling, and anything water related! We pulled this sweet girl from the at risk list at our local high kill shelter after she was picked up as a stray by animal control. This cutie had been at the shelter for 20+ days with no sign of being rescued anytime soon, so we decided to bring her into our rescue! While Karina's history prior to going to the shelter is unknown, we do know that she is one of the friendliest pups out there! Most dogs/puppies are terrified for the first little while after getting out of the shelter environment, but Karina got right in the car and immediately started giving us kisses! She rides very well in the car and is very intrigued by the passing people and cars. Karina is a very spunky, adventurous puppy and as previously mentioned, she is obsessed with anything water related! She doesn't have access to any lakes, rivers, or streams here so she makes due with the outside water bowl. She likes to dunk her whole face in the bowl, start digging until it's basically empty, then start all over again once it gets refilled. Being the water-dog she is, we think Karina would love to go to a home with a pool or natural body of water nearby! Karina is mostly potty trained, crate trained, good on a leash, good with dogs and kids, and has a sweet temperament. She is a smart little cookie who will do so well with the right person! She does not require another canine in the home in order to live her happiest life, but she would love to have an older sibling to take direction from! Karina is currently about 45lbs and won't get any bigger. Karina is located in Houston TX but can be transported to most US states for adoption.

Meet Brinkley, a senior dog with a heart overflowing with love. Her friendly demeanor is contagious, and her curious nature keeps life interesting. She is always ready to explore new things and places and might even jump a fence to fulfill her explorer tendencies. Her favorite activities are car rides, running, walks, chase, and wrestling. Gentle and smart, Brinkley is always eager to learn new tricks, proving that you can indeed teach an old dog new tricks. She already knows the sit, stay, come, no, and down commands and is house trained. Her playful spirit shines when she`s around children, making her a great family pet. With them she is submissive, easygoing, friendly, and gentle. She`s also quite the cuddle bug, always ready for a good snuggle after plopping her 50-pound body onto a lap for petting. However, Brinkley needs to be the only dog in the house, as she can be a possessive of her toys and doesn`t behave well when seeing dogs out in public. No cats either. She`s a great guard dog, ready to keep her home safe and peaceful. She was given up after many years because her family moved to a place where she wasn`t allowed to live. Despite her quirks, lovable Brinkley`s gentle, calm loving nature and playful spirit make her the perfect companion for a family ready to give her the love and attention she deserves. **This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Agile and loving, sweet Elise found herself and her 6 puppies struggling daily on the streets. After finding refuge in an abandoned property, she and her semi-feral pups were brought into our program as quickly as possible. While the puppies have blossomed, no one has come quite as far as beautiful Elise! A touch reserved, this quiet gentle girl is quite the athlete - easily able to scale even the tallest fence on our property! Don't let that worry you though, she's quickly learned where 'home' is and wanderlust has left her. Based on her demeanor we feel she has spent time as a family pet before, and we'd be thrilled to see her where all dogs belong - in a family of her own!
