Hello, my name is Hugo, and I`m a bit shy around new people, especially in the kennel here at the shelter. But don`t let that fool you! With just a bit of patience and understanding, I`ll show you that I`m a social boy who loves attention and learning new things.I just want to please my humans, but I do get a bit nervous around too many new people, so a quiet, low-traffic home would be ideal for me. I`m sure I`ll warm up to you in no time, and once I do, I`ll shower you with love and affection.I think it would be best for me to have another friendly dog in the home to show me the ropes and help me build my confidence. I`m a quick learner and love to play, so having a furry friend to romp around with would be fantastic!I may not show well in the kennel, but I promise that with a little patience, I`ll show you what a great companion I can be. Prudence is a special little girl. She came from a place where she was not given lots of love and attention so she`s not really sure how to interact with people. She`s now in a foster home where she is getting spoiled and getting used to the good life. This lovely lady still has a ways to go and will need a home that is patient and understanding of her needs. She`s an absolute sweetheart who loves treats and is very smart! Her doggy siblings are helping her learn how to sit and get comfortable with people. Sophie is like an innocent child who loves and sees the good in everyone. A big attention seeker, she is always the first one to start the dancing and the first in her foster daddy’s lap. She lives to run and play, laughing at the squirrels and jumping in the water sprinkler. Sophie has been voted “Most Popular” by the fosters, their large dog family and the neighbors. A natural pleaser, Sophie is very easy to train. She knows many of her manners, including “down,” “sit” and “wait,” and is a joy to walk. Hey there – we’re Todd and Copper! I think you and I will be friends forever… won’t we? Well, just hear us out. Would ya? We were found separately but saved together from the slate. Separately, my name is Copper, and I’m a loyal, lazy Labrador Retriever blend. And I’m Todd, a fun, curious Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. Together, life hasn’t been very kind to us. We were a little nervous entering SNIPSA’s program, but with treats, comfy beds, and lots of love, we are starting to find our way. As a whole, we’re well-behaved. Although we could use some leash training, we do know how to behave in our crates. That means there won’t be too much to teach us once we are finally home– unless, of course, you want us to be excellent hunters or sly tricksters, like the movie Fox and the Hound might suggest. When you meet one of us, you’ll see that you need one of us just as much as we need you. So, what do ya say? Will you be our very best friend? Apply to meet one or both of us today!
