Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.&#239&#184&#143Pepper has been waiting for almost a year. PLEASE SH@RE!! Some may be turned off because he appears to be a Hound mix, BUT he is not high strung like most hounds. He's been in rescue way too long. And there's just no reason for it. He has everything in the world going for him. Have you ever seen such perfectly painted on stripes? His coat is stunning. ‍‍‍Good with kids, good with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Pepper is friendly. He's playful. But most of all, more than anything, he is full of love. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 He will cuddle you till the cows come home. But as much as he loves a good cuddle, he doesn't demand anything. He's very unassuming. He is also content to lay on a bed in the warm sunshine. &#226&#152&#174&#239&#184&#143If I had to describe Pepper with one word it would be: peaceful. He's an easy going, happy, medium energy dude. He's about 1-2 years old and weighs about 50-60 slim pounds. He's very fit. He is house and crate trained, although he really doesn't need a crate because he is not destructive. He's just an all around good boy and he deserves a home of his own. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His story: In October 2023, Pepper was dropped off outside of a family’s home. He was skin and bones but very sweet. The family asked us to help find him a home. We got him vetted and they decided to keep him. Fast forward to March 2024. The family contacted us and said they could no longer keep him because the landlorded wanted him gone. So, since March, almost a whole year later, he has been in a foster home. He deserves a home of his own. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.Harrisburg, PA 2am FridaysPort Jervis, NJ 5am FridaysSouthington, CT 8am FridaysEast Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. Story
Meet Fable: Fable is a one year old (as of October 2024) plott hound mix (best guess) that weighs 36 pounds. This rootin tootin cowboy litter of 3 (Farley, Farris and Fable) are sure to steal some hearts! These cuties were found abandoned in a rural area and luckily made it to our rescue. Fable is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Fable is a sweet, playful handsome boy that is looking for his very own family! To put it simply, Fable is a big love bug! He just wants to be with his person and that’s what makes him happiest! Fable loves playing with toys and exploring around the dog yard. In the play yard he avoids rough play with the other foster dogs and likes to hang with the easy going ones. Fable has a gentle spirit and lots of love to give! Fable is working on his house training. We would love for Fable to have a home with a fenced in yard for him to run and play freely! Fable is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adopting this cute cowboy, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT  LOCATION: Mississippi, awaiting transport to PA ##1807994##

Story
Hey there everyone! I’m Charlie, a hound dog with a true “Nose that knows!” Did you know dogs have 100 million sensory receptors while humans only 6 million! Yep, we dogs got a “Nose up on humans for sure!” My bestest friend, CJ and I both came to Molly’s Place a Youngens from different shelters. Adopted by the same human, we became roomies, bonded and became inseparable pals.  Now each about 8 years young, we are again looking for a home at no fault of ours. Sadly, our human was evicted, and we were returned &#226&#152&#185.  So, this Hound Dog snoot of mine is sniffen and I’m fast on a trail for a homes! I'm so HAPPY CJ found his home. Good for him! Guess that means I have my new family all to myself. I'm just fine getting your lovens, rubbens and a cozy warm spot beside you at night. If another dog in my furever home, I'm good with that too. I do LOVE other doggoes! . Being a Plott Hound, I do have these long droopy ears that flap in the breeze and this beautiful schnozzle (see photos. Got to love hound dogs) Just part of my goofy personality that will keep you entertained. About 50#, I’m a mature boy, know house rules (house trained), am crate and leash trained as well. Car rides are the greatest as well as going out/about meeting folks and other doggies. Supposedly I’m allergic to kiddos, so best no little people please. Don’t want to run any races, but exercise for my health is a #1 need so I can keep my figure. So, if you’re in the market for wise, loyal companion that love leisurely strolls and then quiet conversation, look no further. Us older pooches are experienced in life, love and appreciated any time you have to give. No childish games, I’m Charlie, straight up what you see is what you get kind of guy sniffing for affection for years to come. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:      spay/neuter surgery,    microchip and registration,    age appropriate vaccinations,    initial dewormings,    Activyl for fleas,    tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),    bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 16, 2025, 2:17 pm
