Story
Jolene is a brindle beauty! She loves her people and has learned some improved leash manners. Jolene is still working on her self-control when she's out and on a leash. (Sometimes she's a little much when she sees other animals.) We think Jolene would be happiest as your only dog, so that she can have all the love and continue to learn how to make good choices.

Story
Hey there everyone! I’m Charlie, a hound dog with a true “Nose that knows!” Did you know dogs have 100 million sensory receptors while humans only 6 million! Yep, we dogs got a “Nose up on humans for sure!” My bestest friend, CJ (also looking for a home) and I both came to Molly’s Place a Youngens from different shelters. Adopted by the same human, we became roomies, bonded and became inseparable pals, BFF’s (Get my drift). Now each about 8 years young, we are again looking for a home at no fault of ours. Sadly, our human was evicted, and we were returned &#226&#152&#185. So, this Hound Dog snoot of mine is sniffen and I’m fast on a trail for some new homes! Although we’d love, Love, LOVE to get adopted together, 2 gents looking for the same furever home have got some slim pickens. For this reason, separate homes would be fine if given your lovens, rubbens and a cozy warm spot beside you at night. Being a Plott Hound, I do have these long droopy ears that flap in the breeze and this beautiful schnozzle (see photos. Got to love hound dogs) Just part of my goofy personality that will keep you entertained. About 50#, I’m a mature boy, know house rules (house trained), am crate and leash trained as well. Car rides are the greatest as well as going out/about meeting folks and other doggies. Supposedly I’m allergic to kiddos, so best no little people please. Don’t want to run any races, but exercise for my health is a #1 need so I can keep my figure. So, if you’re in the market for wise, loyal companion that love leisurely strolls and then quiet conversation, look no further. (Please read CJ’s bio as well!) Us older pooches are experienced in life, love and appreciated any time you have to give. No childish games, I’m Charlie, straight up what you see is what you get kind of guy sniffing for affection for years to come. To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:      spay/neuter surgery,    microchip and registration,    age appropriate vaccinations,    initial dewormings,    Activyl for fleas,    tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),    bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 23, 2024, 10:09 pm

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 STILL AVAILABLE! This boy is an old soul. I don't know why he's waited so long.  10/9 PepperHave you ever seen such perfectly painted on stripes? His coat is stunning. He's been in rescue for a year. And there's just no reason for it. He has everything in the world going for him. Good with kids, good with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Pepper is friendly. He's playful. But most of all, more than anything, he is full of love. He will cuddle you till the cows come home. But as much as he loves a good cuddle, he doesn't demand anything. He's very unassuming. He is also content to lay on a bed in the warm sunshine. If I had to describe Pepper with one work it would be: peaceful. He's an easy going, happy, medium energy dude. He's about 2 years old and weighs about 50-60 slim pounds. He's very fit. He is house and crate trained, although he really doesn't need a crate because he is not destructive. He's just an all around good boy and he deserves a home of his own. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Story
Bruce is a fabulous example of a forgiving and loving dog that was abandoned and found himself on the streets of a small town in Tennessee.  He had nowhere to go and some kind people took him in to hold him safely while Critter Cavalry Rescue takes time to find him the best home ever.   He is a Plott hound/Pit mix from what we can see in his markings and his stature.  He is 2 years old and 65 pounds and he is one special dog that is so handsome and is truly a gentle giant!  This boy has everything going for him with great house manners and housebroken as well.  He crate trained and is living in a foster home in an apartment.  He is a medium energy young man that gets along well with the other dog in his foster home.  He loves play time outside, as well as being a snuggly couch potato. Bruce is learning to walk on leash and will need daily practice to stop pulling. He loves to ride in a car, likes carrots and ice cubes. When at home he loves to look out the window and will do that for hours.  Recently he spent some time boarding and was a favorite with the staff and he demonstrated an ability to be very sweet and easy with some of the children of the staff members.  The only NO about Bruce is that he is not fond of cats, so no feline siblings.  He would probably do best with another gentle, playful dog of his same size.  He would be fine being the only dog and always center of attention, too!  Older children over 7 years of age might be best, but only because of his size.  If you are looking for a best friend and/or family member to run, hike, play, explore, and then curl up for some couch time, Bruce is your guy!  He is so beautiful and regal.  He looks around like he is surveying his kingdom and hoping that all is well.  You could really make his life a happy ending if you could consider adopting Bruce.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and ask all the questions that you need and also ask for an adoption form. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 20, 2024, 9:40 pm

Story
Your sweet and calm companion!Cassie is a calm, loving 3-year-old girl with a heart full of affection. She arrived at Tara's House with two of her puppies, Frankie and Phoebe, after being rescued as a stray from rural West Virginia. While much of her past is unknown, one thing is clear—Cassie is a remarkable mom and a gentle soul. Despite a challenging start, she gave birth to eight healthy, robust puppies, and her care and cleanliness made her a standout mother. Now settled in a foster home, Cassie continues to show just how wonderful she is. She peacefully coexists with the resident dog and cat, and her low-to-medium energy level makes her the perfect companion for those who enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Cassie is a people-loving dog who craves affection and enjoys snuggling up for quiet moments. Her calm demeanor makes her a joy to be around, whether you're lounging at home or out for a stroll. Cassie is well-mannered and knows basic commands like 'sit,' 'down,' 'wait,' and 'shake.' Her leash manners are impeccable—she walks calmly beside you, stopping and sitting when you do. And she's recently discovered a love for car rides! Though she once lived a quiet, lonely life, she now eagerly jumps into the car, fascinated by the world around her. Cassie crates well and sleeps through the night, though she'd much prefer to snuggle up beside you if you'll let her! She's a sweet, loving companion who would be perfect for a family looking for a loyal and gentle dog. Cassie is good with children aged 10 and up, making her an ideal fit for many homes. If you're searching for a kind-hearted, affectionate family dog, look no further—Cassie is ready to bring love and joy into your life. Apply today to give this amazing girl the forever home she deserves! Cassie’s adoption donation fee is $400, which includes spay/neuter, routine vetting and a microchip. You can apply for Cassie by filling out our online application, which is found on our website www.tarashouse.org.  Please email us at info@tarashouse.net with any questions.October 21, 2024, 8:45 pm
