Story
Meet Zoey!! Look at this beautiful girl... Zoey has had a tough start of life. She was saved by some volunteers at the shelter in Tennessee. They were called to a home, where Zoey had been abandoned and left to fend for herself. The house had been abandoned and nobody lived there any longer. She is now on a foster loving life and getting the attention she needs. Zoey is slowing learning that the world is not all bad. She is a sweet girl who loves attention. Coming out of her shell and learning to trust again. Bless her heart she is doing it. Zoey loves to play in the yard with her foster siblings and also chasing balls. She is also content chewing on her deer antlers and bully sticks. Zoey is over a gal who kind of go with the flow and energy in the house. She enjoys go for walks to explore the outdoors and see all the world has to offer. Zoey does enjoy hanging out as well with her humans and snuggling up with you by the fire. We put her as going with older kids, just because she is still learning the world is good. We just don't want wild and loud kids for to start. Zoey cannot wait to meet her forever family!!!! She has so much love, potential and happiness to bring her new family. Apply for her today, if you want to show her the best!!!! Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.&#239&#184&#143Pepper has been waiting for almost a year. PLEASE SH@RE!! Some may be turned off because he appears to be a Hound mix, BUT he is not high strung like most hounds. He's been in rescue way too long. And there's just no reason for it. He has everything in the world going for him. Have you ever seen such perfectly painted on stripes? His coat is stunning. ‍‍‍Good with kids, good with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Pepper is friendly. He's playful. But most of all, more than anything, he is full of love. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 He will cuddle you till the cows come home. But as much as he loves a good cuddle, he doesn't demand anything. He's very unassuming. He is also content to lay on a bed in the warm sunshine. &#226&#152&#174&#239&#184&#143If I had to describe Pepper with one word it would be: peaceful. He's an easy going, happy, medium energy dude. He's about 1-2 years old and weighs about 50-60 slim pounds. He's very fit. He is house and crate trained, although he really doesn't need a crate because he is not destructive. He's just an all around good boy and he deserves a home of his own. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His story: In October 2023, Pepper was dropped off outside of a family’s home. He was skin and bones but very sweet. The family asked us to help find him a home. We got him vetted and they decided to keep him. Fast forward to March 2024. The family contacted us and said they could no longer keep him because the landlorded wanted him gone. So, since March, almost a whole year later, he has been in a foster home. He deserves a home of his own. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.Harrisburg, PA 2am FridaysPort Jervis, NJ 5am FridaysSouthington, CT 8am FridaysEast Hartford, CT 11am Fridays To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. Story
Let it go, let it gooooooo ...Can't hold it back anymore ... Yes, my name is Elsa, just like that Elsa! I came into this world in February, right in the middle of a chilly San Antonio winter when the temps were plummeting, and life was tough for many. But fate smiled upon me, and a kind-hearted man and his family came to my rescue, sparing me from the freezing cold. I'll be honest; I'm a sensitive soul. Loud voices and sudden noises tend to rattle me, but let me tell you, once I've warmed up to you, I'm a different dog entirely. I'll shower you with kisses and share my whole heart. You see, I'm not just pretty on the outside; I'm smart and gentle, too. What I need most is a patient family willing to give me the time and space to settle into my new home. Trust me; I have so much love to give. In my foster home, they've discovered a side of me that shines when I play with their Big Great Pyrenees. We're like a couple of kids, playing hide and seek, and chasing each other around. I'm also a sunbather at heart, so outdoor lounging in the sun is a favorite pastime of mine. Now, here's the thing: I'm not a fan of long car rides, and I can get a little nervous. But if you speak to me gently and reassure me, I'll find my courage. Leash walks can be a bit tricky too, but with your patience and encouragement, I'm willing to give it a try. In the evenings, I like to cozy up in bed with my humans, though I don't demand it. I just love to be near the ones who care for me. I'm on the lookout for a forever home, a place where I'll be cherished and appreciated just as much as I have been in my foster family. If you're seeking a loyal companion who's ready to bloom with your love, look no further - I'm right here. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Have you ever read a novel that has so many twist and turns that by the time you get to the last chapter, you have NO idea who won and who is the REAL good guy?? Well, I believe my life is like that. I came from somewhere, no one really knows where, and I ended up at the pound, somehow.... So i was actually adopted as a cute puppy from the pound..... and THEN 5 months later... I was saved at a busy intersection with a badly injured back leg.... no "family" around :( SO, luckily I was saved by a RESCUER!!! I mean, what are the odds?? So my name is Artie and now I am healed up and looking for my furever REAL family. I am a great sized pup, 30# of fun and love and all kinds of playtime! I love to run and play, tug of war and keep away I excel at and the zoomies too! I am great with other dogs, and kids and am ok with cats but require a good introduction and experienced dog/cat introducer with monitoring as I may chase a kittie if it runs. So, I also have learned quite a few commands, sit, stay, crate, working on leave it. I am super smart AND MOTIVATED to help find my next best chapter. I will cuddle with you when I am tired and I love to be close to you. ADOPT ME SOON!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Hello there, sorry for the wait ... My name is Doc and I'm here to see YOU actually! Let's see now, you say you're experiencing the lack of a scruffy, fluffy, companion dog in your life? You need to get out and go on walks more? And you say here that you have a huge backyard but no one to play in it with? These symptoms lead me to believe you're suffering from INAD syndrome ... also known as "I need a dog!" disease. Well, I think I can prescribe you something that'll help reduce these symptoms and get you back on track to healthy living. If you'll just go ahead and sign here on my adoption papers, we can get started right now on your treatment actually. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
