Story
We have been looking for a good fit for Ranger, a half plott/treeing walker hound. He would do well with a retired ourdoorsman/woman who is looking for a companion, or a family woth older kids who love the outdoors ideally on a large property away from a main road. Hs a good boy who we have raised since a puppy and put a lot of time and energy into making him a good family dog that the breeder insisted his dogs could be beyond just hunting dogs. We brought him home from not the best living situation (we consider it more of a rescue) at 10 wks wanting to provide him a better home and have invested the last 3+ years into doing just that. Unfortunately we live on a busy road and has been hit once after sneaking out of fenced area. vet saidhes miraculously fine, too risky for him. Ranger has good recall for a hound, he is trained with a tone/vibration/ static charge collar and is typically responsive to a single tone to keep him in range, hes been raised around kids and cats and chickens.
