Story
Kirsch is an 18 month old female Plott hound mix. She was rescued from shelter as time was running out for her. Kirsch is an affectionate, loving dog. She LOVES to play and most of the time, has a toy in her mouth. Kirsch likes to wrestle with other dogs her size and then crashes on the couch to recharge. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She would love an active family to match her energy, and because of that, she would do best with older children. She does need a fenced yard. Kirsch walks well on a leash and is both crate and house trained. Kirsch had a cherry eye on the left eye, which was surgically corrected, but it does occasionally become red. If you'd like to meet our gorgeous brindle girl, please contact us!     Thank you for your interest in adopting from HMF.  All of our pets are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped and otherwise healthy, unless noted in the description.  Our adoption area is within 50 miles of Franklin/Bargersville, IN. Story
Meet Pygmy, the 8-year-old, 53 lb bundle of quirks and charm! Hailing from a farm, Pygmy had a bit of a `barkument` with a goat once (let`s just say they didn`t exchange friendship bracelets). While Pygmy might not be on speaking terms with goats, he’s looking for a drama-free life elsewhere. He`s a wildlife enthusiast, so outside adventures might involve a bit of `wildlife-watching,` and he`s quite the vocal storyteller!Pygmy`s a professional at tippy-tapping when excited and could definitely hold his own in a singing contest (the audience might need some earplugs). He’s looking for a cat-free zone, but in all other aspects, he`s a sweetheart. If you have dogs at home, bring them for a meet-and-greet at the shelter to see if they hit it off. If you`re ready to welcome a furry friend who`s full of character, Pygmy`s here to bring joy and plenty of amusing adventures to your life!
