Meet Jax! He is a 4 yr old plott hound/lab mix boy who weighs about 40 lbs.  This handsome guy’s personality is 100% loveable. Jax is the sweetest and will shower you with tons of kisses. He is also the best cuddler, so if you are looking to watch tv he is your guy. Some of his favorite things to do are playing in the yard, romping around in the doggy pool, playing with plush toys and going for walks. Jax also likes to play with the resident dogs and run the fence line with the neighbor’s dog. Jax is potty trained and walks great on a leash. He is currently being fostered in an adult only home along with the resident dogs, cats and bunny. Children over the age of 15 is recommended due to him being so wiggly. Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $250 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Colton is a 48-pound, ten-year-old, easy-going, healthy, and companionable chocolate brindle and white Plott Hound-mix looking for a loving guardian. Colton loves his walks, snuggles, and his people. He’s fine sleeping in bed with you, or on a dog bed. He’s very trainable and eager to please. He enjoys camping, hiking, and napping. He’s chill, sweet, and accustomed to being the only pet in the home. He’s typically easy to walk on leash, and good in the car. He’s not reactive to other dogs, but might lunge at a bunny or squirrel. Colton is looking for a home with adults and teens. He does not do well with toddlers, so he’s looking for a person, couple or family without tiny kids, or grandkids coming to the home. Colton is healthy, perfectly housebroken, non-destructive, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. His adoption fee of $100 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. DINKLEY - HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS ADOPTION SPECIAL $50 Dinkley will need a special adopter. Someone that can care for his special needs. He is a 1.5 YRS old, 40 pound catahoula mix. He is very energetic and definitely needs help learning his puppy manners still. He is very, very smart. He enjoys wobble feeders, kongs, and puzzle toys. He has not been formally dog tested yet but we are happy to get that officially done, at a later date. After a few initial barks he settled down during a through-fence meeting. Dinkley is just a baby and deserves to live for as long as his heart will let him. Hopefully, he can live a long life with proper medical care! Dinkley has been diagnosed with possible Pulmonary Stenosis. It is under control and the vet feels he has a full life a head of him. He will need to see the cardiologist probably twice a year for follow up. His adoption fee is $50.
