Hi! I am Carly, people tell me I am smart and beautiful! I make my foster parents smile because I am so cute in how I talk when I am asking for something. I have taught them all my languages for my needs! I can sit and wait patiently to be petted, I know to lay down and stay on command. I love to give my toys to people when I play. I live with other dogs, and am ok with most dogs, but can't play too hard. I am housebroken and crate trained, however it makes me a bit worried when I am left alone, so my perfect home should have someone who works part time,or has a hybrid schedule. I would be safer in a 6 foot fence but they may consider other options, as I do love to take long walks. Being an investigative hound, I could not be expected to stay in an unfenced yard! Older kids would be best. Colton is a 48-pound, ten-year-old, easy-going, healthy, and companionable chocolate brindle and white Plott Hound-mix looking for a loving guardian. Colton loves his walks, snuggles, and his people. He’s fine sleeping in bed with you, or on a dog bed. He’s very trainable and eager to please. He enjoys camping, hiking, and napping. He’s chill, sweet, and accustomed to being the only pet in the home. He’s typically easy to walk on leash, and good in the car. He’s not reactive to other dogs, but might lunge at a bunny or squirrel. Colton is looking for a home with adults and teens. He does not do well with toddlers, so he’s looking for a person, couple or family without tiny kids, or grandkids coming to the home. Colton is healthy, perfectly housebroken, non-destructive, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. His adoption fee of $100 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. Bailey is a 5 year old pure bred plott hound. She is really good with people and kids, she is super playful and looves to cuddle. She has not been around cats nor dogs at all so we're not sure how she would be around them. We're moving unexpectedly and where we happen to be going sadly doesn't take dogs and we cannot find housing anywhere else. She is truly a perfect dog. She is house trained. She knows how to sit, lay down, shake, she know what inside voice means, spin, and more.
