Story
Meet Rocky, a handsome brindle boy with one mesmerizing blue eye and a heart as big as Texas! This lovable pup is as friendly as they come—he adores people of all ages and lives happily with kids in his foster home in New Braunfels, TX. Rocky is also a total social butterfly with other dogs and will play for hours, making him an ideal companion for a home with canine friends. He’s curious about cats and could peacefully coexist with a confident, dog-savvy feline. Rocky has an expressive personality, with pointy ears that twitch back and forth as he listens to you, as if he understands every word. He’s smart and knows commands like “come here,” “get in your box,” “sit,” and “shake.” He’s crate and house trained, making him an easy addition to your family. While he gets a little nervous in the car, he loves going on walks and, after a few excited pulls, settles into a lovely, relaxed stride—complete with a charming little saunter that makes him look like he’s grooving to his own beat. Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, and he gives you the sweetest eye contact that feels like a warm hug. Rocky would thrive in an active home or with a family that includes kids or other playful pups. He's ready to bring joy, snuggles, and endless tail wags to his forever family. Story
Molly is a 6 yr old Plott Hound. She is a sweet and beloved pet. We have had Molly since she was 5 wks; we were determined to turn her from a long line of hunting dogs in the country to an even-tempered house dog in town. This plan did not pan out as we had hoped. She is very affectionate; loves to play brain games; she is very intelligent. Molly enjoys long naps on the couch, lingering in front of the fireplace and lots of treats. We would love for Molly to be rehomed with a family with room to run and other dogs to play with; we think she may do well in a pack; to have other dogs to help with her training. She also needs a purpose since she was bred to be a hunting dog. Molly would do well with older children; owners that have more time for her. She has anxiety; fear aggression; she does not like strangers and has bitten people on the hand. Each time Molly has bitten, she was approached and felt threatened, she is not a vicious dog. She deserves to be the dog she was meant to be.

Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
