Story
A cheerful, happy wiggle butt, this beautiful sweet snuggle bug Rex, is a 1 year and ten month old Plot Hound mix that was rescued as a puppy from a really bad situation. Rex has had a rough go with a rough start on life, after having to be surrendered due to his family losing their home when he was a year old, he was rehomed to family that ended up not being a good match and returned again. Since being at the ranch, Rex has gone through training and has finally received the medical care he needed and is ready to find a great home that loves him as much as we do. He now knows many commands, such as sit, lie down, stay, come, heel , drop it and leave it. He is happy as a clam by your side and just wants to be a good boy for you, he loves to snuggle on the couch or hang out with a toy in his mouth. Rex loves all adults and kids. He loves other dogs and is also great with cats! Rex would make a great hunting partner and stays by your side and has a nose of a bloodhound! Rex has been potty trained and is great on a leash and makes a great hiking or running partner. His favorite thing to do is play tag with his foster sister and run around the farm. Due to Rex’s high energy breed we are requiring his adopter has a fenced in yard so that he can get his zoomies out each day.
