This six year-old, Plott Hound mix is shy and coy when she first meets you but something clicks after she completes her thorough sniff down and she invites you into her circle of love. From that point on, she will always greet you with the happiest of wiggles, sneaking in a kiss or two and making sure you are always close by. Ella joined our Satchel's family recently when her family's circumstances changed and they were no longer able to keep her. Hi I'm Buck! I landed in a county shelter at 9 years old and in very poor physical condition. I was malnourished and missing most of my fur and had lost all hope that I would be a happy, loved dog in my golden years. I was pulled by Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue where I received all of the medical and general care I needed over several months to be healthy and happy again though! I'm a big friendly guy estimated around 70 lbs. I'm a very sweet dog with humans and other dogs at the rescue, but a meet and greet would be best with any family dogs in the home. I walk on a leash just fine and overall am a very good boy! My rescue sees Plott Hound and Catahoula in me (best guess).My $100 adoption fee includes vet check, up to date vaccines, neuter, deworming, microchip and heartworm test (negative). I'm around 7-8 years old and instead of enjoying my older years with a family, I found myself all alone and pregnant, trying to survive out in the Everglades. I was sick and very malnourished/underweight; I honestly didn’t know how I was going to take care of my babies once they were born. I finally decided I had to trust these nice people who had started bringing me food… they brought me to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue who immediately gave me a clean place inside to sleep, proper medical care and healthy food. Three days later, I gave birth to my 4 beautiful babies- 3 boys and 1 girl!Now that my puppies are grown and adopted and I'm healthy and happy, I'm hoping to find my own forever family. I am a calm and gentle girl who loves going for walks and just sitting and relaxing with the volunteers. I am fine with most dogs that are relaxed and chill like I am; high-energy dogs not so much. I like to keep my space clean; I am housebroken as long as I am taken out at least a few times a day. I look like a Plott Hound/Dutch Shepherd mix and have beautiful brindle coloring.Snicker’s adoption fee is fully covered!
