Charlie is a 7 year old plot hound who was found on the TN/NC border. He unfortunately does not have a microchip and his finders were not able to locate his family. He is sweet to all the humans, cats and dogs he has met. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Charlie is crate and house trained and loves being near “his” humans. Fred is a sweet boy who was founded a stray. His owners were not able to be located so WTFarm is helping another rescue to find a caring home for him. He loves people, but is terrified of a raised hand and scurries away. Fred deserves to know the love of a good home. Guinness is a one-year-old, 48 lb. plott hound/pittie mix with the most stunning brindle coat, precious smile, and dark brown eyes. He came to our rescue from Texas with his sister who was quickly adopted. The pair were saved from euthanasia with just hours left before taking the long journey to Connecticut. He has been with us since October 2023 and is anxiously waiting for a loving family of his very own! Being one of our LONGEST RESIDENTS, Guinness has been waiting a VERY long time to be adopted! We do not understand why as he checks all the GOOD BOY boxes: - Good with other dogs - Good with kids of all ages - House & crate trained - Knows a variety of commands (sit, stay, down, come, bedtime) - Friendly & social - Rides well in the car Guinness' tail never stops wagging and he just adores his playtime, being with his people, lounging by the fire, and swimming in the pool, and chasing his toys. He is a total lap dog who loves to snuggle and give hugs and kisses. He's super playful and loves to run around and explore. He's a complete mush and ready to be anyone's BFF! He's currently in foster with another pup, whom he loves so having a furry friend would make him very happy. He must go to a home with a fenced yard. His adoption fee is $400 and Guinness is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. He does suffer from allergies so he needs monthly injections to manage that. Welcome Zeus to CCPAL Foster Program. Zeus is a 18-month old 70 pound Plot Hound/Medium Terrier blend dog. He was abandonded by his owners when they moved and left him at the house they moved from. He was tied up to the porch. Good Samaritans spotted him and were feeding him and giving him water until they realized the owners weren’t coming back. Zeus is now in foster home waiting for his new forever home. He is great on a leash and not leash reactive. He is good in a crate and he likes car rides. He is attentive, smart and potty trained. He is overall a wonderful dog and is not food aggressive or reactive with his bowl. He would make a wonderful outdoor enthusiast a great companion. He would make a perfect man dog. He looks tough but he is not at all how he looks. He would make a great family dog if the man works out of the house. His looks would make the family feel secure even if he loves everyone. He is a lower shedding dog with a nice soft coat. He is healthy, vaccinated and neutered. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. LUCY is 7 months old, under 40 lbs still. She is what I call "fine wood looking". The brindles are so beautiful! She loves the other dogs at her foster home. Enjoys all toys with a special fondness for balls. She loves being petted and included in family activities. She is leash, crate, and house trained. Has been around kids 10 and up. She has not been cat tested but we can test if needed. She has not generated any negative feedback. Breed scan puts her at high percentage Plott Hound. Located in Camden, TN (West TN). Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*
