This is a shy boy but sweet. He likes to play with other puppies and is quite curious at times. He will need all basic puppy training and will most likely need a yard due to breed. He is just a cutie with those ears of his!! The group is pretty quiet, barking only when playing with each other. He is friendly when he gets to know you (treats help) and would be a fun pup to welcome home. Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.&#239&#184&#143Pepper has been waiting for almost a year. PLEASE SH@RE!! Some may be turned off because he appears to be a Hound mix, BUT he is not high strung like most hounds. He's been in rescue way too long. And there's just no reason for it. He has everything in the world going for him. Have you ever seen such perfectly painted on stripes? His coat is stunning. ‍‍‍Good with kids, good with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Pepper is friendly. He's playful. But most of all, more than anything, he is full of love. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 He will cuddle you till the cows come home. But as much as he loves a good cuddle, he doesn't demand anything. He's very unassuming. He is also content to lay on a bed in the warm sunshine. &#226&#152&#174&#239&#184&#143If I had to describe Pepper with one word it would be: peaceful. He's an easy going, happy, medium energy dude. He's about 1-2 years old and weighs about 50-60 slim pounds. He's very fit. He is house and crate trained, although he really doesn't need a crate because he is not destructive. He's just an all around good boy and he deserves a home of his own. He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. His story: In October 2023, Pepper was dropped off outside of a family’s home. He was skin and bones but very sweet. The family asked us to help find him a home. We got him vetted and they decided to keep him. Fast forward to March 2024. The family contacted us and said they could no longer keep him because the landlorded wanted him gone. So, since March, almost a whole year later, he has been in a foster home. He deserves a home of his own. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
