Story
adoption donation : $650 weight 40 lbs  Age: 9 months as of 12/20       Nacho is an absolute love bug, he doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body, he is all tail wags, and kisses and wiggles!    Nacho was found abandoned with his sister in a rural part of Mississippi when he was a young puppy, he was taken into the rescue quickly settled in, he love to run and play with the other dogs and snuggle up with his sister and a puppy pile to nap. A few months ago nacho was sent to the northeast and adopted by a single man who adores Nacho but whose work schedule has changed and now he is gone for long hours and feels Nacho is alone too much.     Ideally, we would a home for Nacho with another dog to play with, he absolutely adores every dog he’s ever met and would make a fabulous companion. If not, nacho would really love an owner who was around a lot, who would take him on walks and hikes or just spending time together, Nacho  just loves to be with his person.      Nacho is just a silly, funny, goofy and loving boy. He could use a little training, he does get excited and still jumps up a bit, but he is a smart boy and extremely food motivated, he would be easy to train. Nacho is the ultimate family dog, he would absolutely love to be in a home with children he can give sloppy kisses to.     Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Story
Hi, my name is Jack and I am a super, duper sweet boy looking for my forever home. I’m a 2 year old Plott Hound mix, around 72 lbs. I am a big fan of the hoomans and other doggos and I would be happy to have a doggo friend to hang and play with. I love being active and I'm super smart - hey we could be hiking buddies. I am a big boy at 72 lbs so probably best I don't go to a home with the really littles, I would hate to knock one over, or even sit on one! Can you find room in your home for me? *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/14/24 STILL AVAILABLE! This boy is an old soul. I don't know why he's waited so long.  10/9 PepperHave you ever seen such perfectly painted on stripes? His coat is stunning. He's been in rescue for a year. And there's just no reason for it. He has everything in the world going for him. Good with kids, good with other dogs of all sizes and genders. Pepper is friendly. He's playful. But most of all, more than anything, he is full of love. He will cuddle you till the cows come home. But as much as he loves a good cuddle, he doesn't demand anything. He's very unassuming. He is also content to lay on a bed in the warm sunshine. If I had to describe Pepper with one work it would be: peaceful. He's an easy going, happy, medium energy dude. He's about 2 years old and weighs about 50-60 slim pounds. He's very fit. He is house and crate trained, although he really doesn't need a crate because he is not destructive. He's just an all around good boy and he deserves a home of his own. Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. Story
Ginny is a sweet and playful 5 month old possible Plott Hound mix girl who currently weighs around 35 lbs. We are going by her coloring and her feet size--will probably be 50ish lbs full grown. Ginny and her siblings, Sherlock and Holmes, were found dumped on a local lake access road in August. They were taken into the rescue and have been loved on since. Ginny likes to run and play with her brothers and squeaky toys, lay in the sun and be outside. She loves other dogs, people and would do well in a home with children. Ginny is spayed, fully vetted and microchipped. If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out an application at https://packleadersrescue.com/adoption-application/
