Meet your New Best Friend at an Adoption Event near you! Blazer is thinking about coming to an adoption event near you very soon. If you’d like to learn more about this pup and their fluffy friends who are looking for their furever homes, check out our website: https://amazingdogs.org/available-dogs/ If you would like to reserve this doggie and have us bring them to the event of your choice for you to meet first, you can do so by paying a non-refundable deposit of $50 to our Venmo or Zelle account (619-918 2142 in the name of Amazing Dogs; pls indicate your telephone number). This deposit will go towards the adoption fee. After receipt of your deposit, we will confirm your reservation and list the doggie on our website as ‘Pending Adoption’. If you decide not to adopt one of our Amazing Dogs, the $50 is considered a compensation for the transportation costs. All our doggies come with their health record and have received all necessary medical care, which includes (but is not limited to) all vaccines, de-wormer, anti-flea/tick medication, microchip and of course spay/neuter surgery. Our adoption fee is $500. Only in California, the fee for babies under a year old is $600. Please consider this not as a price you pay for the doggie, but as a (tax-deductible) donation to our charity, so we can continue our work and take care of the 250+ dogs in our shelter. Read more about why we charge adoption fees here: https://amazingdogs.org/adoption-fees/ If you have any additional inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via call or text. We are excited to meet you at our upcoming adoption event! Contact before event: Sandra Garcia T (408) 477-0553. Story
Meet Leia Leia, a two-year-old Plott Hound/German Shepherd mix, is a high-energy girl and would be great for an active person. She is an Apple Valley euthanasia list survivor. Leia is brindle and white and weighs 50 lbs. A dog-savvy adopter would be best for her who can give her the attention she needs, and she would thrive being the only dog in the home. This will help her become the best dog she can be. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. Leia loves to play with other dogs, but if unsupervised she can get rambunctious, so would need some time to find her place if she were to go to a home with other dogs. She loves people and will be a loyal best friend. To meet this sweet girl who deserves a dog’s best life, contact Dana at 760-519-5532, or email dkmikel@gmail.com.

Meet Holmes - My Story So Far.. Holmes is shy, silly, goofy, amusing, and sensitive, and his foster mom says he’s “a gentle giant but super goofy. Once he’s comfortable, he loves to make people laugh!” This young pup is under a year old and about 55 lbs. He’s good with dogs, crate trained, great on leash, and consistent about looking to his people for direction. Holmes lives with cats and kids over 12 in his current foster home, and he is doing great with all of them! He is also doing well with waiting (to eat, go outside, etc.) and learning “place.” Since Holmes is a young dog, he will thrive with humans who are willing to continue his basic training and who will help him learn that he can trust them. Please inquire to meet this sweet guy today!

**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Zsa Zsa is a special little girl! She is beautiful, with just the most strikingly gorgeous bridle pattern. She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving. Zsa Zsa is outgoing and confident. She is a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up next to or on top of you. ? Zsa Zsa is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls. Zsa Zsa is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. Story
This big boy is the sweetest, most loving dog I’ve ever met! It honestly breaks my heart that I am not in the position to keep him!! He is still kind of a puppy, but a pretty lazy one, he definitely needs a yard to be able to stress his long legs but he is not very hyper. Just has spurts of energy but then he’s done, he’s favorite pass time is snuggling on the couch! He’s super friendly with people, even good with kids and loves playing with all other dogs! He is crate trained and listens very well.

Story
The two photos show how her fur changes color in the Sun versus in the shade. Vivian is the biggest love bug you will ever meet, she adores affection and attention. She lived a very rough life on the streets and was written off by many other rescues as unfavorable because of her advanced abscesses and sexually transmitted cancer that she was facing. The recommendation was to euthanize her. Thankfully her advocate contacted us and with the help with our skilled veterinarian team we were able to save her! She is now ready to start the next chapter in her life cancer free!
