Beau is all puppy! He is loving, sweet and energetic. He gets excited with new environments, but once familiar with a new environment, he becomes more calm. He enjoys going to the dog park to play fetch and make new friends. Initially he struggled with a little bit of separation anxiety, but he has since been put on Prozac once a day and a huge improvement has been made. Beau is home alone for 9 hours straight, free roaming the house without any accidents and no destructive behaviors as long as shoes and other items are put out of reach. He is house trained and crate trained. He enjoys going for walks and has done well with meeting both big and small dogs. He is currently living with two cats who he is patient with--no chasing or tormenting. He will come with a crate, harness, leash, food, meds, shampoo and any other items to help. Hi, my name is Kona! I am a 4 year old Plott Hound/Pit Mix! I have been with my foster family for 8 months now and I'm ready for my furever home! My story has a sad start, I was passed around the homeless community before eventually being abandoned. I stayed in the shelter for 6 months until my foster family brought me home to get me back on track! I have never had an accident or chewed anything up. I was able to de-stress and learn how to be a dog again. Thanks to training from One Love Pitbull Foundation I was able to learn and practice manners. Ive had lots of improvement on my resource guarding but I do sometimes get a little defensive over my food. Im still learning and practicing though! I enjoy being an active pup but also just lounging around. I enjoy cuddles but also my own space. I would recommend that I'm an only dog, but I have shown extensive growth with my foster families dog. Due to the resource guarding I would recommend older children!

Courtesy post Ben Be is a dog we have agreed to courtesy post. Ben is a Brindle Pittie/plott Hound mix, two-year-old boy who weighs 51 pounds. He’s like a favorite teddy bear. He loves everybody. He’s a people person. He's Ben is gentle, sweet, loving, affectionate and fun. Ben’s face has the biggest happy smiley face all the time. He’s just so thankful to be in a foster home and soaking up all the love. Ben loves hanging out with his people and especially the human boy in his foster home. Ben is very happy to run around and play games out back. Then just as happy to come in and be a couch potato. Ben is quite the little love bug when he’s being held, he cuddles right in and fits perfectly in your arms. Want to take a road trip? Just pack his food and he jumps in and ready to go travel. He’s a great traveler. Wherever you go, he’s coming with. Ben was rescued from County. He was brought in as a stray after the 4Th of July. Sadly no one came into to claim him. His rescuers have asked Luv Of Dogz to help find Ben is perfect home. Although Ben is friendly and good with dogs that he meets on walks, he absolutely has to be the only dog as he loves to get all the attention and can get jealous of other dogs when in a home setting. When he is out walking, he walks great and no problem with other dogs. Ben will need a family that has a house with a yard for him to run around and play in. He will need to have a secure walled yard to be safe in. Ben will need to have a family who has time to give him attention and play outdoor games with him and make him a part of the family. He will need a lifetime commitment throughout life’s changes. Ben will be an amazing new family member. Gentle Ben is ready to love you and be your loyal best froend for life.
