Story
UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Sweet little Delilah arrived at her foster home today from a local overcrowded shelter. She’s an adorable plott hound mix. She’s 14 weeks and 12 lbs. This girl is playful, sweet and cuddly! We will update her pics and info as it comes. She is utd, spayed and ready for her forever family.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications! Thank you! Marley was born on 12/15/23 and is litter mate to my other posted pet, Tember. They both are mixed breed, mostly Plott Hound. Marley is very sweet and calm. I am looking to rehome due to rehome due to pregnancy and they are unable to be in the home. I would love to have them other rehomed before winter comes. Marley is currently under a wellness plan with Banfield that I am willing to continue paying for until it ends next June.
