This gray striped tabby is Mary Kay. She was born in 2022. She was found as a "stray" at a Walmart parking lot in a nearby county. The rescuer took her temporarily but could not keep her because she already has several other rescue cats. We subsequently discovered that Mary Kay has a microchip and was adopted from a shelter in yet another county. Attempts to locate the adopter were unsuccessful, so now Mary Kay is looking for a new family. Mary Kay is a petite girl and very social. She is easygoing, likes people and does well with other cats. This striking girl is Lucinda. She was born in May of 2025. She came to LIFE House as a tiny stray found in the wheel well of a car in the Kroger parking lot. She was extremely frightened of everyone and everything as a result of that experience but has become more social around people as time has gone on. Lucinda has striking coloring - a dark coat with the tips of her fur looking as though they are frosted. Lucinda is a high energy, athletic kitten who loves to play. She seems to get confidence from being around other cats and would do best in a home with a confident, playful cat that likes other cats.
