Story
My name is Goomba and I am an orange tabby domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 1 year and 8 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 03/11/2025 due to the fact my owner had personal problems happening in their life and could not take care of me anymore. They were my family for 1 year. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a medium energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I do not have a history of trying to escape the home, but the shelter staff always recommends owners be mindful that I do not accidentally sneak out on their way out the door. I can be good with men, women, and children. I can be good with other cats and I can be good with dogs. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms. They are also tested for intestinal parasites and receive routine dewormings. Cats are vaccinated against distemper and rabies, receive a flea preventative, are spayed/neutered before adoption, and have a microchip. Adoption fees include the initial automated registration of the microchip at the time of adoption.

Story
My name is Cassian and I am a brown tabby domestic shorthair. I am a neutered male and I am 1 year and 7 months old. I am here because I was given up by my owner on 03/01/2025 because I was naughty about chewing on cords and jumped on counters to steal food. They were my family for 6 months. I am used to staying inside during the day and inside during the night. I am a good kitty who uses the litterbox! I am a high energy cat and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I dash out open doors or windows if given the opportunity. I would do best in a setting with two doors between exterior doors, such as a screened in porch or hallway, or to be shut in another room or in a kennel before any doors or windows are opened. I can be good with men and women, but I have not been around children. Shelter staff think I would do fine with children 5+ years old. I am great with other cats. I have not lived with a dog before. All cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, and cats over 6 months of age are tested for heartworms.
