Piper has been our beloved cat for 10 years. We adopted her from the San Francisco humane society and she has been with us ever since. She spent the first 8 years of her life as a strictly indoor cat and the last 2 years she has started going in and out of the house as she pleases. She is house trained, extremely soft, and very cuddly. She loves curling up by the fire or snuggling under a blanket on your lap. My wife and I now have kids and just don't have the time to give her the attention she deserves. We would love for her to go to a loving home that she can enjoy the second half of her life at.

This pretty girl will be happy to jump in the lap of a cat experienced guardian and hang out, but she has limits on how much petting she wants. She is serious about being the only cat in the home. Alison does not want to live with or see other cats. However, Alison has lived with dogs and did well with them. This independent girl spent much of her time outside on the property in her previous home, but, being a senior, she may appreciate the comforts of a warm house more now than in the past. Alison also absolutely loves playtime--you'd think she's a youngster from her speed, agility, and stamina during wand toy play. She is a SUPERB toy mouse hunter! Alison was truly loved in her previous home of ten years. She is social and affectionate, but likes things on her terms.
