Birdie was abandoned when she was less than 1 year old along with her kitten, who was still nursing at the time. She is very closely bonded with her daughter, Bitty (the one with the gray nose in two of the photos) and it would be amazing if someone could find room in their heart to keep them together. She is super sweet, very playful, gets along with cats, dogs and children. Loves to sit on your lap and be carried around. She loves to hide inside of boxes and bags when playing. She is very gentle and has no problem with her nails being trimmed. She loves to be brushed and combed.

Bitty is a little shy, but so very sweet once she gets to know you. She will even lick and groom you. She was just a tiny kitten when she was abandoned with her mother, Birdie (also available for adoption). She loves to sunbathe in a window and watch the squirrels and birds. She also enjoys watching Cat TV videos and is very playful. She is used to being indoors, but did spend the first few months of her life outside with her mom, but she does not really show any interest in going out. She is very closely bonded to her mother and it would be wonderful if someone could find room in their heart and home to adopt them together. She is a really fun, lovely cat with a lot of love to give.

Unfortunately, we don't always know the background of each cat. Some were dumped, abandoned in an empty house, left in a box on the side of a road, picked up by animal control as strays, or simply unwanted by their owners. Please take into consideration that owning a pet is a 10+ year commitment and discuss with all members of your family before submitting an application to adopt.
