She's a true people-lover and will happily keep you company while you read, watch TV, or just relax.Magpie is currently on a short course of antibiotics for a bacterial infection (which cannot spread to humans and is very unlikely to spread to other cats). She also has anemia, and while we haven't pinpointed the exact cause, she's shown no signs of pain or distress and continues to live her best life! Other than her current antibiotics, she doesn't need daily treatments-just lots of love and regular vet checkups.Because her health status is a bit of a question mark, we're treating her as immunocompromised for now. She's looking for a foster-to-adopt home in the South Okanagan area while we finish her treatment. Eeyore may have earned his name from the sad expression he wears, but don't let that fool you. He came to us from a property with many other cats, some of whom were ill, so he has been exposed to Upper Respiratory infections.
