Story
Hi friends! My name is Nova! Are you looking for a fun, energetic, and smart dog to complete your home? I may be just your girl! I am bursting with excitement and energy - I sometimes don't know how to contain it all! It occasionally comes out in the form of jumping and mouthiness, but I am so smart and eager to learn! I just need someone willing to give me the training and structure I need to be the best dog I can be! I would thrive in an energetic home that can keep up with me and my antics and help me release all my built-up energy! Because of my need for training and learning my manners, I would do best in a home with older children that are used to being around dogs like me! Some dogs here do get me overstimulated and overwhelmed, so I may not be a good fit for all homes with another dog, but we can always meet first and see if we can be friends with a slow introduction! I have so much love to give, and I deserve someone who is willing to give me a chance to show it! Think that could be you? I'd love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Weight: 56 Age: 4yrs 2mths 1wks

Story
Hey there! I'm Taz! I'm a young and handsome husky that was surrendered to the shelter with my sister Trixie because we weren't getting along with the cat in the home. We were then adopted out and returned not long after for being too hyperactive. That being said, I've found myself homeless again and am searching for my new forever home! I have lived with kids in the past, and I am very friendly with them, but I am a jumpy and mouthy boy sometimes, so I would do best in a home with older kids that are used to being around high-energy dogs. I love to go for walks and play in the yard with my sister and also enjoy getting pets and attention from time to time as well! I have A LOT of energy and really need a home with a land or a fenced-in yard preferably! I also will need some serious work on my manners when it comes to jumping and being mouthy. I have not really grown out of my puppy antics yet, so I could use some training for sure! Experienced dog owners are a must for me, and I will need lots of time and patience adjusting to home life again. My sister and I are not a bonded pair, but we love each other so, so much! We would love to go to place that is willing to have twice the fun and take us both home. If not, that's okay too! We have a tendency to team up on other dogs when we're together, so if we do go home together, it would need to be in a home that doesn't have other dogs in it already. If I am adopted separately, there may be a dog out there that I could share my home with given it is a good fit. Staff and volunteers give me as much love as they can here, but I would really love to have a home of my own again where I can run and play to my heart's content! Could that be with you? I would love to meet you! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 77 Age: 1yrs 5mths 0wks

Story
Hello! Zura here! I am a 2-year-old, beautiful German Shepherd that was surrendered to the shelter due to my family not having the time to give me the attention and training I needed. They were heartbroken, but they knew that they had to do what was best for me. I was adopted out, but sadly returned because I accidentally got out and got in a fight with the neighbor dog. So now I am back again to find my forever! I am a timid and nervous girl when it comes to strangers, so this place was not my favorite when I first arrived, but I am gaining for confidence every day! I warm up to people over time, but you need to go slow with me and show me that I can trust you which only comes with time and patience. Once I know you, I will undoubtedly be your best friend! Because of my fearfulness of strangers and need for training, I would do best in a home with older children that can respect my space. A home that doesn't have frequent visitors would also be best for me as well since I am not a fan of strangers. I have a decent amount of energy and love to go for walks, so I would love an active household that will give me the exercise I need! I have lived with another dog in the past, but I am protective and somewhat territorial, so I wouldn't be a good fit with all dogs. There is potential for me to share my home with another dog though given it is the right fit! I need someone willing to give me the time, training, and love I need to be the best dog I can be! I promise to give you all the love in return! Please ask to meet with me here at the shelter! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 86 Age: 2yrs 7mths 3wks
