Story
We rescued both of these guys from the animal shelter. They are good, sweet dogs. We just kinda jumped into this with out thinking. Our house is too small for these guys. Plus, we just aren't active enough for dogs like this. They would be much happier with an owner who enjoys outdoor activities. Ubbe is the husky and Bjorn is the German wire hair. Ubbe is very quiet for a husky. He doesn't even bark when someone knocks on the door. He just likes to play a lot! Bjorn is a sweetheart but he is kind of a nervous dog. I don't know if he had an abusive owner or was a stray before we got him but I think he's been through some rough times. He's not aggressive tho. He just craves attention. He hovers a lot and stares at you with the puppy dog eyes begging for you to pet him. I think he just needs lots of love. They are close by now so it would be nice if someone could take both so they could stay together. If not though I understand. Don't need any money for them. Just want them to be happy.

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Max is a shy, older fellow that appreciates a gentle approach when meeting new people. He would benefit from a low traffic, quiet home. Max is a pro at fetch with the volunteers at the shelter; he loves being outdoors, being praised and going for walks. He has previously lived with other animals and has been neutral toward the other dogs and cats here at the shelter. Weighs 48 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF:Marshall is a social young pup that loves a good adventure. He shows us typical husky behavior here at the shelter with his singing and sprinting talents. He seems to enjoy meeting our dogs here and has played with some of them but would probably chase a cat if he is given the chance. He is very curious about what you are doing and likes to investigate as well. Marshall knows the “sit” command and is very food motivated which will come in handy with his training. Due to his breed, Marshall will benefit from a seasonal “blowout” of his coat to help him maintain his body temps during the summerWeighs 53 pounds, $25 to adopt
