Story
I'm looking to rehome my dog, Shiloh. She’s a mixed breed who appears to have some pit bull in her. She’ll be 2 years old December 13th. I adopted her from Lubbock Animal Shelter in 2022. She had just had her back right leg amputated. When she arrived at the shelter, her leg was badly damaged, possibly due to being hit by a car. She is super affectionate and has been since the day I brought her home. She loves people and has done great at the doggie daycares she’s stayed at. She LOVES playing with other dogs. She’s been great around kids as well. Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents where she’s shown aggression towards my senior dog, the last time being this past week. I don’t want to cause any more stress or anxiety for Nellie (my senior dog). This is a tough decision and I love her dearly, but Shiloh would be better off in a home where she’s either the only dog or paired with a larger alpha dog. She’s around 35-40 pounds.

Story
Adopted Lemon from AAC July 2024. She had been an owner surrender with no information provided so I don't think she had the most attentive former owner. Despite that she is incredibly sweet and gentle. She's great with people, other medium to large dogs and while interested in my cat still respects their boundaries. She does get anxious when left alone so a home with another dog to keep her company is best. I crate her when I'm away and at night next to my other dogs crate and she does great. I've been taking her to different dog parks and she does well. Good recall and loves to play with other dogs. She can play rowdy depending on the other dog and can be clumsy. I am rehoming her due to some issues with my smaller dog so she needs a playmate than can play on her level. But she is great at chilling out too. She's 2 yrs old but you'd guess older by how well tempered she is.

Story
We adopted Portia from the Georgetown Animal Shelter in 2015 . She is a 10 year old Golden Shepherd, we were told that she was house trained, we learned that she was not. She's been through a full training class and knows her basic commands. We adopted our second dog not too long after that, about 4 months ago Portia attacked Orion for what seemed like no reason, at that point we separated them and a few weeks later when we tried to reintroduce them she attacked him again within 5 minutes. She's never been aggressive towards our other puppy or towards any people. She was diagnosed with severe Separation Anxiety just recently. We don't know what triggers her aggression towards our other dog but would like to see her in an active home with lots of love, attention and patience, where there's no other dogs or children until her triggers can be determined. She's a very sweet dog though, loves to give hugs and kisses and has a lot of life left in her, she LOVES to run and cuddle up to you.

Story
I got Major when he was about 5 months old. He was born roughly September 2017 (the vets guess when I got him). He was given to me from a friend who had found him. They were unsuccessful in finding his original owner. I have had him since 2018. He’s been okay around my toddler, but would be better with older or no kids.

Story
This is Allister. He is 4 years old. In tact (not nuetered), has all shots but is due for rabies. Pure bred German Shepherd, parents were AKC but I never registered him. We are located in Williamson County, in the city of Taylor. No health concerns. Good temperament, some anxiety. About 90lbs or so, he's still skinny, but he's a pretty big shepherd. He has never been around livestock or farm animals so idk how well he does with them Okay with certain other dogs, especially female and smaller dogs. Doesn't try to eat cats but doesn't exactly get along well with them. He doesn't try to attack children but he doesn't do well with them and is big and clumsy and would definitely accidentally hurt them. I feel he would do well with a small family with older kids (like teens), or with a single person or a couple. He loves to cuddle and lay in bed most of the day but loves walks and playing etc. He's a good boy but needs some training, and is excitsble and anxious.
