Story
Little JR is a happy, energetic 8 month old puppy. He found his way on the EU list due to space, but was a shelter and volunteer favorite so I knew I had to step in and help. He’s currently living with me and loving life. He loves to play with my older dog, going on walks or to brunch, and is great on a leash and out in public. But his favorite thing in the world is playing catch. He’s never met a tennis ball he doesn’t love. We would love to keep him, but my youngest dog is reactive to all dogs other than his brother so we need to find him a great family. JR is a sweet, wiggly boy deserving of a second chance at life and furever home.

Female, 11 yrs
Seagoville, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Described as loving and obedient, Scooter responds to commands from formal training and waits at the door for permission to go out. Not uncommon to the breed, she cannot be in a home with cats, but she adores children and has lived in a home with a 2-year old who Scooter's very gentle with. Scooter walks great on a leash but will pull if she sees a squirrel. She does well with other dogs but will command all the toys as squeaky toys are her very favorite pastime.Scooter's family has had two untimely deaths and are no longer a ble to care for her, so they asked us to help find her a new home. they say she's an excellent watch dog, loves to give kisses and affection, is house broken and knows how to use a doggie door. She'll do great in an active family with a nice backyard and the time she needs to adjust to this change.Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule. We will bring the pet to you and help with introductions to your current pet(s). You will then have a week with the pet to ensure they are the right fit for your home. At the end of the week, you finalize the adoption and the pet is officially part of your family! Learn more at ohar.org/adoptionprocess

Story
A very happy boy who loves playing with his foster siblings, Shadow is crate trained and housebroken and knows how to use the doggie door! A quick learner, he also knows Sit, Down and Kennel means bedtime. He'll do best with an active family or with an active family with another dog who matches his energy level. Typical of this breed mix, as both are working dogs. Shadow loves playing outside, but prefers to be where his people are. Shadow will need a nice size back yard to play in.

Story
Hello human! I'm Honcho but you can call me Honch, Hunk, McFluff - the list goes on. Whatever you want to call me, be sure that my name is as burly and handsome as I am.I am a friendly fella, who is eager to please. Treats, car rides and exploring the great outdoors are just a few of my favorite ways to pass the time.I'm not for the faint of heart. I need a person who has strong leadership skills and strong muscles. I'm a big boy who is still learning to walk smoothly on the leash. But what can I say,,, I am so excited to get out and have an adventure that I tend to go as quickly as I can to see and meet everyone!Interested in learning more about me? Contact OHAR to get the inside scoop!History: Honcho and his BFF came to OHAR when their family decided to no longer provide the care the pups deserved. Unfortunately, Honcho's friend passed of cancer within days of coming to OHAR. Honcho went through a rough grieving process but came out the other side and ready to find his happily ever after!Adoption Process: After your application is approved, a home visit is schedule.
