Story
I'm looking to rehome my dog, Shiloh. She’s a mixed breed who appears to have some pit bull in her. She’ll be 2 years old December 13th. I adopted her from Lubbock Animal Shelter in 2022. She had just had her back right leg amputated. When she arrived at the shelter, her leg was badly damaged, possibly due to being hit by a car. She is super affectionate and has been since the day I brought her home. She loves people and has done great at the doggie daycares she’s stayed at. She LOVES playing with other dogs. She’s been great around kids as well. Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents where she’s shown aggression towards my senior dog, the last time being this past week. I don’t want to cause any more stress or anxiety for Nellie (my senior dog). This is a tough decision and I love her dearly, but Shiloh would be better off in a home where she’s either the only dog or paired with a larger alpha dog. She’s around 35-40 pounds.

Story
One of my mom’s friend’s dogs had puppies. His mom did not want him. He was unable to breast feed with the rest of the pups. My birthday was coming up. As a birthday gift Kodak was brought home. He was 2 days old. He was bottle fed as an infant and raised as a normal dog after he was off of milk. He is now 5 years old. He is a very good listener. He is fully house trained. He loves the water. When it comes to other dogs he tends to get insecure. He enjoys being around them but off leash does not do well. He sleeps indoors, either on his bed or in my bed when he chooses. When I leave my home he is left out, I just have to be careful about leaving trash or food where he can get to it. If anyone is interested in adoption there will be plenty with him. Food in a storage, toys, a bed, heart worm for the next 5 months, medication for vet visits, treats, a crate if needed etc..

These pups are in San Marcos, Texas too!

Bear is a big Teddy Bear! He just wants the love and attention of his people. He has had good interactions with kids and other dogs. Bear is working on learning simple commands (sit, stay, lay down and he already understands bed time ). He loves to feel the wind in his fur so he needs a very secure fenced yard. A well fitting harness would be best for walks, which he loves! Bear is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He is the sweetest dog and well mannered! Fill out an application to meet him today!
