Story
One of my mom’s friend’s dogs had puppies. His mom did not want him. He was unable to breast feed with the rest of the pups. My birthday was coming up. As a birthday gift Kodak was brought home. He was 2 days old. He was bottle fed as an infant and raised as a normal dog after he was off of milk. He is now 5 years old. He is a very good listener. He is fully house trained. He loves the water. When it comes to other dogs he tends to get insecure. He enjoys being around them but off leash does not do well. He sleeps indoors, either on his bed or in my bed when he chooses. When I leave my home he is left out, I just have to be careful about leaving trash or food where he can get to it. If anyone is interested in adoption there will be plenty with him. Food in a storage, toys, a bed, heart worm for the next 5 months, medication for vet visits, treats, a crate if needed etc..

Story
I'm looking to rehome my dog, Shiloh. She’s a mixed breed who appears to have some pit bull in her. She’ll be 2 years old December 13th. I adopted her from Lubbock Animal Shelter in 2022. She had just had her back right leg amputated. When she arrived at the shelter, her leg was badly damaged, possibly due to being hit by a car. She is super affectionate and has been since the day I brought her home. She loves people and has done great at the doggie daycares she’s stayed at. She LOVES playing with other dogs. She’s been great around kids as well. Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents where she’s shown aggression towards my senior dog, the last time being this past week. I don’t want to cause any more stress or anxiety for Nellie (my senior dog). This is a tough decision and I love her dearly, but Shiloh would be better off in a home where she’s either the only dog or paired with a larger alpha dog. She’s around 35-40 pounds.

Story
Adopted Lemon from AAC July 2024. She had been an owner surrender with no information provided so I don't think she had the most attentive former owner. Despite that she is incredibly sweet and gentle. She's great with people, other medium to large dogs and while interested in my cat still respects their boundaries. She does get anxious when left alone so a home with another dog to keep her company is best. I crate her when I'm away and at night next to my other dogs crate and she does great. I've been taking her to different dog parks and she does well. Good recall and loves to play with other dogs. She can play rowdy depending on the other dog and can be clumsy. I am rehoming her due to some issues with my smaller dog so she needs a playmate than can play on her level. But she is great at chilling out too. She's 2 yrs old but you'd guess older by how well tempered she is.

Meet Thor Introducing Thor, the big and friendly dog with a heart of love! This squishy pup is a great companion for anyone who loves big, playful dogs. Thor is a natural social butterfly and loves spending time with other dogs, making him a great fit for households with multiple pets. He loves being in the house and is quick to make himself at home. Thor is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is available to adopt out of state but needs to be an only dog as a meet and greet is required. Thor is a dog who's always up for an adventure, and he particularly loves car rides. He jumps into the car with ease and settles in for the ride, making him the perfect companion for road trips and outings with the family. With his love for exploration, we recommend a high fence for this big boy. But Thor isn't just about fun and games; he's also a well-trained pup who knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. He's always eager to learn new things and is a quick study. With his love of learning and eagerness to please, Thor is a great candidate for agility training. While in the house, Thor is content in a kennel or just laying on the couch. And let's not forget, Thor loves attention and is a big snuggler. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a movie night or cuddling in bed, Thor loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the love and affection. In short, Thor is a big and friendly dog who's always ready for fun and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion who's great with other pets, loves car rides, and enjoys a good snuggle, then Thor is the perfect fit for you!
