Story
I found Houdini a few months ago running along the highway. I could tell that he had been neglected and abused. He was afraid of the car, the leash, and the house, but he learned to love all of those things really fast! In fact, he has learned the command stop. He is also learning the commands leave it, sit, and shake. He is a great dog with a lot of personality, but he can be stubborn. In the house, he is very calm, but outside he loves to run and play! He is learning to chase the ball, too. I can tell that he wants to be a hunting dog. Maybe he was, I don't know. Houdini would be great in an active household or in a house with a big yard so he can run and play. He is great with other dogs, but not with cats or other small animals. I am rehoming him because of my cat and finances. He has heartworms and I cannot afford the treatment.

Story
I recently rescued this sweet boy, Dice, from a neglectful household. When I got him, he was visibly malnourished (his ribs were showing) and his coat looked to be stained from being in his crate for an extended period of time. I had no choice but to remove him from that situation, but I have two very active dogs and need to find him a permanent home!

Story
Bella, a beautiful mix of Pit and Husky, is looking for a forever home. She’s 5 years old, weighs 50lbs and has never had any illnesses. She’s very active when outdoors and loves to run or play fetch. She is looking for an active family that has time to play and give lots of love and attention. Bella is crate trained, housebroken and does well on a leash. She’s been around cats all her life and has shown no aggression. She has not had exposure to other dogs. Bella would make a great addition to anyone’s pack.

Story
I found 2 dogs 2 months ago. I’ve done everything I can do, but sadly I cannot keep them long term. I don’t want to give them to the shelter, but I just have no other options. One is chipped, but contact is no longer owner. I did detective work and found out their newest owner died and the family let them go. “Bella” looks like she has some boxer in her, but I’m not sure. Deffinatly she is part pit bull. She’s a muscular dog and a little slow to warm up to new people especially men. However, is not happy in my family. They both weigh about 25 lbs. They seem healthy, but I have not taken them to the vet. I think they are happy together, but seem territorial… I’m guessing they wouldn’t be great with other animals in the household. I’ve had them in my back yard for two months and they are great with my teens. I’m not sure I’d trust them with small children.

He is very loving and likes his belly rubbed. They both weigh about 25 lbs. They seem healthy, but I have not taken them to the vet. I know Bo was his owners baby and lap dog before she died.
