Story
I was fostering this dog that I got from the shelter in my college town. He was great without other dogs but once I brought him to my parents house and he has been way too energetic and a threat to their dog. Thurston is 3 and an amazing pit bull with a great personality and is very trained. He is great with kids and everyone of all ages, but needs to be the only dog in the home. Thurston is loveable, playful, smart, kind, and a friend to all. Everyone that has met him can say the same thing and that they love him. For me he is the right dog, but at the wrong time as I cannot stay in my college house forever and do need to go home.

Hi! My name is Luke and my foster mom says I am the sweetest boy! I'm a 55 pound German Shepherd mix, and born approx 2/15/13. I am SUPER smart! I enjoy playing with other dogs, and am crate and house trained. I am eager to please, have a WONDERFUL disposition, and deserve a lifetime of happiness in my very own furever home!Luke is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. The first step in our adoption process for this handsome boy is to submit your application which is available online at hillcrestanimalrescue.org. DOB: 4/01/2014 Weight: 65 lbs Yeti is a gentle, lovable senior dog looking for a new forever home due to allergies in her current family. She is potty trained and can be trusted to have free roam of the house. Yeti is wonderful with people of all ages but can be picky about the dogs she gets along with (as can be true of many dogs her age!).  Yeti is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Story
Amos got to us after he had to go from the animal shelter to the vet clinic for an amputation. We don’t know why his front left leg was so damaged. We do know that the night of his surgery he managed to rip out all of his stitches and laid his head on the vet tech’s shoulder while getting wrapped for repair surgery the next morning.He is not quite a typical Husky as he’s very laid back. He doesn’t use his voice near as often as most Huskies although he does have a little growl in his conversational voice which isn’t nearly as off-putting as it might sound.Amos has great house manners, does fine on a leash, and would be a perfect go-everywhere boy for his family. He adores his humans and is very loving and outgoing. He is a social boy and meeting new people and animals is easy for him. He’s fine with cats and seems to ignore the livestock kids at his foster home.He is very engaged with his humans and loves to be as close when he doesn’t want to spend time watching the world go by from his perch on the porch. He will often ask to sleep outside but is willing to do what his human feels is best.Amos is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
