Story
Little JR is a happy, energetic, 8 month old puppy. He found his way on the EU list due to space, but was a shelter and volunteer favorite so I knew I had to step in and help. He’s currently living with me and loving life. He loves to play with my older dog, going on walks or to brunch, and is great on a leash, in the car and out in public. But his favorite thing in the world is playing catch. JR has never met a tennis ball he doesn’t love. JR is up to date on his shots and is heart warm negative. He knows sit, shake, lay down and we are currently working on stay and wait. He’s smart, a quick learner and eager to please. JR is a sweet, wiggly boy deserving of a second chance at life and furever home. If you think that is you, please reach out. Happy to answer any and all questions about him.

Story
Blaizze is an energetic and fun loving 7 month old Pitsky. He is wonderful with children and great with commands. He knows the command sit. He will stay if prompted. He is puppy pad, crate, and house trained. He loves to cuddle. He loves belly rubs. Blaizze is not a huge fan of car rides but he adjust when the window is slightly down and you talk to him to relax him. He is wonderful with getting groomed at the groomer but he doesn't like the noise of the blow dryer. Blaizze loves ice cream, puppy cups, and he does anything for treats. He enjoys walks and lots of running, during his walks he is a very friendly puppy (lots of licks and acknowledgment). He hasn't been around a lot of animals besides ones at the groomers and during walks. He loves to play fetch and playing with lots of toys.

Hi! My name is Luke and my foster mom says I am the sweetest boy! I'm a 55 pound German Shepherd mix, and born approx 2/15/13. I am SUPER smart! I enjoy playing with other dogs, and am crate and house trained. I am eager to please, have a WONDERFUL disposition, and deserve a lifetime of happiness in my very own furever home!Luke is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, neutered and on heart worm and flea/tick preventatives. The first step in our adoption process for this handsome boy is to submit your application which is available online at hillcrestanimalrescue.org. DOB: 4/29/20 Weight: 74 lbs Lucy was purchased from a breeder and is being surrendered due to not getting along with the other dog in the home. She loves her humans and gets along great with children but needs to be an only pet. She is house and crate trained and very intelligent and affectionate. Due to her history with other dogs, she will not do well in a community setting such as an apartment.  Lucy is smart, sweet, loving, cuddly, protective, because she's half husky, she talks a lot. Whenever she wants to go outside, she picks up a toy and goes to the door.  Lucy is active and she enjoys walks and the park. She is housetrained and can be trusted to have free roam of the house. She knows basic commands and will be a wonderful pet for a family this holiday season and beyond.  Lucy is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative.    We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. I was adopted at the age of 2 from an animal shelter. I was minding my own business living my best life until a new little human came around... and that's when things began to change. They say he has severe allergies, and I am causing issues impacting his health. I don't want him to suffer because of me, so I had my people reach out to the kind folks at LHS to assist in finding me a home to live out my glory years. I am housebroken and can be trusted to have free roam of the house. I can be a little bossy with other dogs so I would do best in a home as your only furry companion. I do great with people though, even little ones. They say I am very sweet and lovable - I have to say that I agree! I have been spayed and I will be brought current on vaccination and heartworm test on Monday.
