Story
I'm looking to rehome my dog, Shiloh. She’s a mixed breed who appears to have some pit bull in her. She’ll be 2 years old December 13th. I adopted her from Lubbock Animal Shelter in 2022. She had just had her back right leg amputated. When she arrived at the shelter, her leg was badly damaged, possibly due to being hit by a car. She is super affectionate and has been since the day I brought her home. She loves people and has done great at the doggie daycares she’s stayed at. She LOVES playing with other dogs. She’s been great around kids as well. Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents where she’s shown aggression towards my senior dog, the last time being this past week. I don’t want to cause any more stress or anxiety for Nellie (my senior dog). This is a tough decision and I love her dearly, but Shiloh would be better off in a home where she’s either the only dog or paired with a larger alpha dog. She’s around 35-40 pounds.

These pups are in Lockhart, Texas too!

Story
I got Scout from a breeder 3 yrs ago. He was bred in Germany, born in Texas on 12/6/21. I have had him trained at a couple different places when he was younger, one of which was a 4 week board and train. He knows the following commands: down, off, sit, stay, come, and crate (he goes into his crate). However he doesn't always obey the commands, especially when he's excited. He sleeps in a large crate. He's very friendly, energetic, and playful. I am deeply saddened at the thought of having to give him up, but no one else in my house can tolerate him. Due to the protective nature of a GSD, he becomes defensive when someone comes to the door or even walks by, barking and growling, and jumping around like a wild bronco. He tends to charge through gates and doors, which gets frustrasting if you're also walking through at the same time, and he jumps up on counters and furniture (in a standing position). I love him to death and he's a great dog. But I have to choose my family first.
