Story
Sweetie is a pitbull mix that I rescued from an abusive home. She has a lot of energy and loves to run around. She gets a long with my senior support dog scout but she’s a little too hyper for her. I’m moving for work and can’t bring sweetie with me. She’s still a pup but is great at letting you know when she needs out. She also loves to be cuddled and will do just about anything for a treat.

Story
Beau is a beautiful 64 lb, 3-year old German Shepherd mix. He loves walks, fetch, zoomies in the backyard, car rides, doggie daycare, humans, and other dogs. No cats!!! Beau is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, although he still pulls a little on the leash and will need help with that. Beau was rescued from being an outside dog 24/7, regardless of the weather. His previous owners also declined heartworm preventative for Beau and he has tested positive as a result. We are paying for Beau’s heartworm treatment and are committed to fostering him until his forever home is found. Please know that if Beau were not cat-aggressive, we would be his forever home. He is an incredibly good boy! Sadly his behavior with our cats is not okay, and our attempts to train him otherwise have failed. We know there is a great (cat-free) home out there for Beau. Perhaps it’s yours!! If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Beau is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.October 14, 2024, 10:13 pm

Story
This lovely girl Ruby is up for rehoming. She was a stray and we tried to see if she got along with our animals. She did get along great with our dogs and the dogs at the dog park but the cats and guinea pigs not so much. She is an amazing dog, just not fit for a house with cats or small animals! She likes to be near you all the time and follows you around the house. She loves walks, car ridges, dog park and hangs out on the couch with you watch tv. Ruby is around 2-3 years old we think. I have her scheduled to be fix but I’m on a waiting list. She had a few accidents in the house but when she settle down with us, She did very well in going outside to potty. Over all she is a very friendly dog just not with cats Also: -she walks well on a leash -well with other dogs -very food motivated
