Story
I found Houdini some months ago running along the highway. I could tell that he had been neglected and abused. He was afraid of the car, the leash, and the house, but he learned to love all of those things really fast! In fact, he has learned the commands stop and shake. He is also learning the commands leave it and sit. He is a great dog with a lot of personality, but he can be stubborn. In the house, he is very calm, but outside he loves to run and play! He is learning to chase the ball, too. Houdini would be great in an active household or in a house with a big yard so he can run and play. He is great with other dogs, but not with cats. I am rehoming Houdini because my partner does not want him here! In addition, Houdini is heartworm positive, and we cannot afford the treatment. He is on heartworm prevention, though, and I can see improvements in his health. A full recovery may still take time.

She is looking for an active family that has time to play and give lots of love and attention. Bella is crate trained, housebroken and does well on a leash. She’s been around cats all her life and has shown no aggression. She has not had exposure to other dogs. Bella would make a great addition to your family.

I haven’t been at the shelter very long but I’m already looking and feeling so much better, and I’m super excited to meet my new family! I’m an older gentleman but don’t let that deter you; I still have lots of energy and a playful spirit. I appear to get along well with people of all ages and other dogs, but I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. Story
Totem was born August 8, 2022, I was given him by my friend I’ve known my whole life. Totem’s dad is purebred Siberian, and his mom is Husky/Samoyed. Due to my now busy schedule with school and work, I’m unable to give him the love and attention he truly deserves. Believe it or not, he’s a quiet husky 80% of the time, he’s not the most vocal but he loves to lick, everything. I used to walk him, but it’s been awhile since then and is iffy with it since he’s grown accustomed to his backyard. He hasn’t had much experience with other dogs, so I’m not too sure on how he’ll react to others in a new home. He also likes to put his paw on you when you’re giving him attention, I haven’t had much luck getting that to stop.
