Story
I'm looking to rehome my dog, Shiloh. She’s a mixed breed who appears to have some pit bull in her. She’ll be 2 years old December 13th. I adopted her from Lubbock Animal Shelter in 2022. She had just had her back right leg amputated. When she arrived at the shelter, her leg was badly damaged, possibly due to being hit by a car. She is super affectionate and has been since the day I brought her home. She loves people and has done great at the doggie daycares she’s stayed at. She LOVES playing with other dogs. She’s been great around kids as well. Unfortunately, there have been a few incidents where she’s shown aggression towards my senior dog, the last time being this past week. I don’t want to cause any more stress or anxiety for Nellie (my senior dog). This is a tough decision and I love her dearly, but Shiloh would be better off in a home where she’s either the only dog or paired with a larger alpha dog. She’s around 35-40 pounds.

Story
My son recently moved back in with me, bringing his sweet dog, Debo, along. Debo is such a loving companion; the only challenge we’re facing is that my youngest son has discovered he’s allergic to dogs. We’ve tried reaching out to family and friends to find a good home for Debo, but sadly, no one is able to take on another pet right now. It breaks our hearts to have to rehome him, but we’re hoping to find a loving family for my son's furry friend. Debo is a playful one-and-a-half-year-old pit bull and husky mix, who adores going on walks and visiting dog parks. We’re especially looking for someone with an active lifestyle and/or a spacious backyard where he can thrive. Given my youngest’s severe allergies, we would love to find someone to take him in as soon as possible. We’re not asking for an adoption fee; we simply hope you’ll care for him just as my son has since he was a puppy.

Meet Mia - the lively two-year-old who came from a high kill California shelter all the way to Texas looking for a home. Can that be with you? The ideal adopter would be an active person who loves a hiking and swimming companion animal...did we mention she loves fetch and balls!!
