Story
Penny is a sweet and comical girl. We adopted her 2 years ago and they thought she was one years old. She is very active and will need a fence and regular walks. She's a good with children and other dogs (if introduced slowly), and is well trained. We would keep her forever, except she is just too active for our aging bodies.

Story
Meet Rogue! Hi, my name is Rogue but my friends call me Ro Ro. I am a ginger-colored husky mix, and I was born 9/13/2021. I came to the shelter with my brothers and sister, who have all moved onto their forever homes, way back in the fall of 2022. We were born and raised outside and were on our own, our momma did her best to care for us, but these "human" things were totally alien to me until we came to the shelter. I didn't really like them at first, I'd rather spend time hiding with my dog friends in my kennel, but after a while they wore me down with their yummy treats, and my doggy friends helped me see that they aren't too bad. Sometimes, they're even kind of fun to play with. I spent kind of a long time not trusting people, but my friends tell me that good things are worth waiting for. After spending lots of time in the kennels with other dogs, they moved me to this cool new room where I get to run around day and night with my best friends, and lots of new people come to visit me. I've found it's kind of fun to play keep away with the people, and when they give my friends treats, you bet I'm right there with them waiting for mine. I still prefer to be a little more independant than some of the dogs I know, but I've grown really fond of some people when I see them a lot. I think I'm actually ready to find one that I can call "mine" like my friends tell me they want. Some things I really like are toys, for sure, treats, and naps. If I had to pick a favorite toy, I'd probably say stuffed animals. Not that they last long, they're just so fun to tear apart! I also really like rolling around the herding ball they give us, that's pretty fun too. i am smart and will show my new human friends my many tricks i know once im comfortable with them. i know how to sit, lay, give paw, and come. More than anything, I'd love to go to a home with another dog or two, but I definitely want to meet them before I commit to living with them. As far as cats, I love cats! I love cats the same way I love stuffed animals. My people friends say this means I'm not allowed to live with any cats though. The little humans, or "kids", are okay, but I prefer when they're a little bigger and know when I want to be left alone. Anyway, I'm ready to find a home, do you want to help me?  Rogue is fully vetted, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $125. Rogue is considered to be a flight risk, so a fully fenced yard is required. Potential adopters may be subject to a home visit.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387. ##1530157##

Story
Meet Jovie! Half fluffy and half goofy, this girl is here and ready to find a forever home! Jovie is a priceless young husky mix with an estimated birthday of 04/01/2022 weighing in around 50lbs. Jovie sports a wiry white coat with the cutest little grey earmuffs built in! Jojo is all smiles and kisses, she has a heart of gold and will steal your heart away in a snap. True to her breed, Jovie has a larger than life personality and is always having a good time. Whether she's tussling with a toy or playing chase with another dog, Jovie is always ready to play. She has a gentle side to her, too. Jojo has great manners, she is learning quickly not to jump up, walks great on a leash, and is already responding to her name. Jo clearly does great with other dogs, but of course if you already have any in the home a meet and greet is required. She has not yet been tested with cats, but she does wonderful with children.  Jovie is fully vetted and microchipped, with a spay appointment approaching. Her adoption fee is $175 + a refundable $75 spay deposit.  Interested? Call 615-446-7387 ##2260010##
